That's why I put with peace and love and the (: lol but maybe it had the opposite effect. I'm working on fixing my daily routine. I adjusted my sleeping schedule and made at least one meal a day for myself. Now I'm adding in being active every day. I've tied in walking my dogs as a sort of warm-up before exercising, so I have a reason to do it other than for myself. I won't start until they get a walk and they deserve to explore and visit the park. Once I've already done that step, it's only natural to finish it out by doing my own exercise. I also like putting on a video like this to motivate me through it when I need an extra boost.

I used to think it was so obvious to celebrate your wins but I've been realizing how hard that actually is to do! I finish something I'm working on for ages and don't feel anything. I finish a really big project that I was sure I was going to feel proud when it was over and my brain just goes "It was not that hard. Anyone could do that. There is nothing to celebrate" And it makes me so frustrated! This is what I've been working on with myself. Saying "Hey, listen, even if it wasn't THAT hard you can still relax now. There will always be more work to do but this was a big step and you did well." Talking gently with ourselves is easier said than done but it's sooo necessary! Thanks for the video! It made me remember to be proud of what I already did!

The one habit that I'm working on right now is researching. I used to refrain from learning about the less talked about (of lower significance) things, but overtime I have understood that that's not really how I can expand my knowledge, and just "know more" and build myself. So I'm regularly working on researching and educating myself about as many things as possible, even the ones that do not concern me as a school student at present.

Thank you so much. Your videos are so inspiring and I very much needed this right now. Just made brownies as a stress reliever and I’m supposed to be on a diet. I just skipped my nutritionist appointment today because I’ve gone 70% off track. I told her I LOVE sweets so much and she just neglected that and banned me from eating any sweets except for fruits. I just got my academic report today and I’m top of class but instead of getting happy I’m rather frustrated from my state. I’ve always thought I needed self discipline but now I don’t even know. Everywhere I go is a dead end. I’ve been stuck here for 2 years and gained 7 kg. I am so desperate but I think I’ve lost hope. Just like you said I’ve lost trust in myself that now even if I say I’ll start anew deep inside I know it ain’t gonna work just like it failed 40 times before. I’m naturally positive but this issue is my weakest point and it’s causing me a lot of unnecessary stress. It’ll boost my confidence to 1,000% if it works. I just want to fit my pants again but I’m tired of the classic ‘go slowly’ and ‘never give up’ tips. I’ve lost my trust in any new method even before I try it. I’m STUCK. Please I need promising help !! 😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you once again, Aileen. You are amazing. Your clear and positive videos are just right for me. I always have a ton of goals but learning to narrow down the list to what is really important to me in the long run. I love the 9 tips to get back on track. I like everyone else, I am sure, sets more than one goal and works on them simultaneously. The fear is for me is the lack of trust that I will accomplish one goal and move on the next, so I had better do them all at once to be sure I get them going and done. Especially for people in my age group where time no longer feels vast.. So, thank you for reminding me that multi-tasking personal goals is not a successful strategy. I love your outline of the two mindsets. I am definitely the one to look ahead and how far I have to go and its definitely a defeating way to look at success. Thank you for your insights.

I can definitely agree with the fact that it is more easier to keep going when you are reflecting on everything you already achieved, for me who has so much difficulties to imagine the future, I can only see what might happen in the next three months but nothing more, life is changing so much so quickly. Never I would have thought I will be here doing that with such a grown mindset right now 🌟

Journaling every day. Thank you for this video. I’ve fallen off track with my journaling and I’ve really been beating myself up about it. This has made me feel a little better about the situation ❤️

I was literally planning to get back on track with my goals and all when this popped up in my notifications. I'm already feeling good about it because of this video. This is what I really needed. Thank you!

Great topic! What helps me get back on track again is to keep it small and easy to achieve. Even if it’s 5 or 10 minutes of movement a day, it’s still better than nothing! I like starting out with 5 or 10 minutes as my goal for the first couple weeks when I’m getting back on track again, as it’s easier to stick to and achieve. And most days I go for longer, but it’s not necessary... once I can show up for the 5-10 minutes a day, it’s much easier to start adding more time onto that in the next few weeks. 5-10 minutes is better than 0!

This year I joined an institution for my higher studies but I couldn't take the pressure and felt unmotivated the whole time. My mental state was so disturbed that at last I decided to exit from that institution. For the past few weeks I have been feeling like I made a very big mistake and I have been so hard on myself. Today, after watching your video, I am feeling a bit optimistic. I want to complete that degree and I will start working for it, small steps :)

My one goal right now in life is to find my inner passion for life again. I'm so used to going after finding work or planning to move that I never really enjoy where I'm at right now. Sure, things are far from perfect, but that doesn't mean I should be sour about my efforts in life. One of the tips that represents with me in this video was to review my why because I sometimes get tunnel vision and forget why I'm doing this activity or going after this job. Thank you, Lavendaire, for another helpful video. ❤️

I think the second point (find out your „why“) is SO important. I really realised that I couldn’t do anything because I couldn’t figure out my why because of mental health issues. So to focus on that in the first place is really a mind chanher

The timing of your last few videos have been so perfect with everything going on in my life! One goal I'm working towards is studying for my national counselors exam so I can work on getting licensed....and a new habit I'm trying to build is journaling!

Well the one goal I wanna work for is learning Korean. I started learning it last year but I left it midway. And I just started studying it reacently. I am going really slow this time so I make a regular consistent habit out of it. And this video was just like a blessing at the time I needed it the most. I dont know how but you always know whenever I need some help and your videos always present the solution to my problem.

Thank you so much Lavendaire. This really helped me. I just understood that I should not just want a perfect me, rather I should keep my expectations small. Trust me readers, the joy of achieving something small is special. It does not matter how much you are doing at once or how big the work or how much time you have to do this work , how much the work matters to you is what is important. I am a student, I have always had time limits for doing any studies which is natural but overthinking about this is not good. You should just get going and going alongside managing you time.
