I really relate deeply to what you said about lacking motivation to work because of the fear of failing. Its 'creators curse' I believe, being vulnerable enough to be responsible even for your downfalls. How I intend to overcome it is to steadily build confidence in my work by just being present in the day to day. As well as giving myself grace to make mistakes and feel the negatives that come with growth - I remind myself that it's all progress 🐢💚

genuinely feel like you might've read my mind or something for this one. thank you for reminding me again and allowing me to find my spark to my fire! :) so for the past few weeks, I've just been accepted as a transfer student at USC and in a way, I was happy in the sense that I feel like my hard work has paid off. For the past year, I've been studying in New York and have been hustling hard because of the culture, and during then, I felt alive and on my feet all the time. Now that I'm back home for the summer, I want to create my own art again but I started to question myself 'why do i do what i do? why am i doing art... and why is it important to me?' I can't exactly say that I've found an answer in the past few weeks of my reflection but at points, i wanted to do art because i felt anxious about not doing anything. but when i did art, i just wasn't happy with what i created. However, i think it's okay to allow yourself time to not feel motivated. it's fine to have moments of not doing anything.

This was so helpful 🤍🤍 Here’s a little SUMMARY in case anyone is short on time ⬇️⬇️⬇️ 🔴WHY you lack motivation: -FEAR: (ex: fear of failing) ✅Solution: you have to face it and overcome it - DISCONNECTION FROM SELF: not doing core habits to stay in tune with your intuition such as meditation or journaling ✅Solution: Do those core habits again -COMFORT ZONE: you operate too much in it, it’s safe and easy, but it means LESS energy coming in. ✅ Solution: do something new or get in a new environment BONUS TIP: lack of motivation can be a REDIRECTION- maybe you’re not feeling that zest for a reason ✅Solution: maybe try a new path ✨HOW TO PICK YOURSELF BACK UP:✨ - hit a low point where your SELF AWARENESS kicks in & you’re ready to change - gather KNOWLEDGE and INSPIRATION: organize ideas + plans; ask yourself what YOU can stick to - TRACK YOUR PROGRESS: it can motivate you! - make TIME and PRIORITIZE: make a schedule and make it easy to show up ✨ I really hope this helps! Have a great day :)

I had a meltdown a few days ago and the worst part about it was I did it in front of my daughter. That was my low point that has brought me here today, I am just not happy or motivated where I am financially, work-wise, in my living space, etc. the only thing I’ve ever been happy with is my daughter and I showed her that side of me I never wanted to show her. It was my wake up call. Thanks for the video Aileen, it’s exactly what I needed, hope you find that energy and motivation again soon to keep posting- I love your videos!

I want to enter the month of april with the energy I came into the beginning of this year with. January was so good to me. I just pray to keep my eye on my goals and God’s vision. I pray to stay consistent, limit social media, and be more productive throughout each day. I pray to challenge myself in so many ways and lastly to grow in such a way that I don’t even recognize the new version of myself! I love and appreciate you Lavendaire, you bring such a peaceful vibe to me and I appreciate the knowledge given ❤

Summer recently just started for me and my year of school was just so stressful and I cried a lot because of friend issues, the amount of work I have gotten, my really bad stomach issues, never getting enough sleep and so much more. The whole year I was so burnt out from everything going on. By the end of my school year I really lacked motivation and being productive…I just was sitting watching TV for a couple weeks and I would just sleep all day long. I would always be so tired and never wanted to get up and I even didn’t get myself up to get something to eat. I’m still recovering from my school year and I’m doing better. I’m taking things slowly and trying to plan easy things I can start off with like working out and getting better sleep. I’m also getting myself back into my healthy habits like drinking alot of water, journaling and in general just taking care of myself. Thank you so much Lavendaire for posting so many helpful videos especially this one🥰🥺you don’t know how much you have helped me this month just getting myself back together and inspiring me to try so many new things!💜 your such a relatable person and show others that it’s ok to take things easy and to always do what’s best for you🥰💜 thank you so much again for everything!🥰🤗🥰

I lacked motivation to work out for about a year. I was still finding movement most days (walking and yoga), but I hit a plateau because I was doing the same things for so long. I decided to join a gym 3 minutes down the street and now take a weight lifting class 2x/week! It's totally different than what I'm used to, but that's what keeps me showing up because it's exciting and new. Happy body, happy mind. And I still take walks and practice yoga which is the perfect complement to weights :)

Hi Aileen💕✨ I knew your Channel the last year and I was surprised about how much art, knowledge, inspiration, hope and light that contains. I was happy to find a KZbin channel that provides a content that we need in our days, I mean to find someone who can guide us with her words and her energy that stems from her heart and soul is a great thing . I discover the world of healing last year and I was glad to find you sharing your own real experience you inspiring me to go on this long exciting journey. Regarding your question, when I lose motivation in something I give myself a break and look back ask myself and think deeply take some notes and search for answers then make a plan and track my progression even if it was tiny, and try to be present and more grateful. Aileen, you may be lost your motivation in making this type of video because you master it and you need to jump to your next level. I believe that you will figure it out and find a new spark again hope you the best and I sending you too much love and positive energy, Marwah 🧚♂️💕🌿

I think for me, the pandemic "squashed my bounce" quite a bit. In the household I'm in, we had to shield (not go anywhere etc) for a year. It wasn't a choice to not go to the gym classes, see friends, etc, I went into trauma. My life became through a screen. Lots of things started, stopped, changed, I had no continuity or consistency with anything really. I felt very isolated. I said to myself I must do exercise every day and eat well as they're the two things I had control of. But, like you, I struggled motivating myself to exercise alone. I struggled with lack of privacy, etc. I didn't gain a lot of weight like many people did. But I feel heavy, untoned and not "sharp". So exercise definitely needs to be a priority for me. Quality social connection and meaningful things. I need a plan too... We can do this....x thanm you for making this video.

thank you for another great video Aileen! ✨ i realized one reason why I've been unmotivated: I compare myself to others too much. whenever I decided to start a creative work, I remember other people my age and think, "wait, what I'm abt to do is NOTHING compared to what they did, so what's the point?" i realized that this is an unhealthy mindset coz it always ends up in me doing NOTHING. but hey, doing something small or minor is still waaay better than doing nothing at all, right? this can be tied up with your reason that I'm disconnected from myself. yes, all I've thought abt recently was how teenagers my age (17, about to go to senior year) are doing really well. I've worried a little too much abt college applications and how other teens are able to get high stats (perfect GPA, SAT score, extracurriculars, essays...) and it honestly stresses me out.... so I'll try to reconnect to my deepest self by journalling so that I'll just shut all the voices in my head that compares me with other ppl.

I’ve also been feeling really unmotivated lately, it became worse when a trip I was planning for my birthday in 3 weeks had to be cancelled at short notice. That threw me off even more such that I’m struggling with doing my daily habits, exercising (it’s currently winter in my country), staying on track with my graduate school tasks and my job. I want to make the change and get back to “normal” but at the same time I just feel like lying in bed all day and doing nothing.

Studying anatomy. The professor provides an colorful, color coding, easy packet though I’ve been unmotivated to study. Possibly it’s because of how I view the class as ‘easy’ I felt like it easy for me not to study. There several other reasons, as you mentioned that’s making me unmotivated. I would love to challenge myself and take this class seriously.

Also, I have been disconnected from myself but it already got better because I spend my own time in cafe daily by a comfort zone created. I am going to think about what is my low point, and based on knowledge learned, I am going to focus myself on a plan. Then, I am going to make it reality by practicing it daily.

OMG this video is super related to my situation right now! Been hitting a rock bottom regarding my phd journey for the past month and having the fear of failing. Then I found myself again after a short trip to another city sending my brother to college (I mean, not a holiday or so). But I felt like, oh, I actually just need to go out of my work desk, thesis out of sight for couple of days. And I started coming back to your channel for guided meditation this morning after missing meditation for few months. Yeah I really need to get back on track and I look forward to try your suggestions. Thank you Aileen🌹

Thank you so much for this video. These past three days I've felt weirdly stuck.. Also last night I had a dream with flowers that looked like the ones at the start of the video, I thought that was funny 🌷✨

My issue is i feel as if im not good at content creating and not popular or rich enough to be successful creator but I have to remember that i am perfect and that im good at things and that i shouldnt measure my success like others. Just showing up and doing it is success.

I resonated with the hitting rock bottom... I had two hospital stays since the start of this month (new moon), interestingly around the new moon and full moon! 😂 A condition that might lead to a potentially life threatening condition!! 😱 And they really scared me, saying, "Since this treatment failed, you're at higher risk!" 😥 Survival mode on ⚡ A great reminder to review my goals and priorities... To get my life back together, physically and mentally 💙 🍀

Thanks Aileen for this video. I can relate. 🤩 I also feel not motivated sharing my life / my thoughts onto social media. Just like Aileen mentioned, I think it is the fear of failing and I am not quiet down in my mind. The fear is quite hare to overcome...
