It’s great learning about how the pulse works. This video helped me know I am getting more benefits with my full body mat that pulses and spraying my self with green tea in a spray bottle before treatments. I use my red lights / near infrared therapeutically for chronic pain, migraines, regulating my circadian rhythm, and brain recovery. Typically, I use my panel and full body mat together for 1 hour once or sometimes twice a day. I have noticed skin improvements on my entire body despite the long treatments. It’s a good side effect of doing full body treatments for systemic pain over the years.

I just bought an upgraded red light mask, it’s soft and more comfortable than the older models. I really like it, I think it’s more effective than the devices I was using previously. On another note, I had a comment about the dry eye… Treatment can be very complicated and usually requires a combination of things… I suffered from this and had a terrible case of it for the last couple of years but over the last 8 to 10 months I have found great relief. when I first started using the warm compresses, I think I was using them too hot, which is actually very hard to tell if this is the case. I developed a little lump in my eyelid. so I started being extremely careful on where I applied to compress only to have it touching the lash line… Yes it was difficult to hold it in place for 10 to 15 minutes. But it helped a lot. Also, taking Alevera capsules, hyaluronic acid capsules and sea buckthorn oil, was the magic bullet. I also use hyaluronic acid eyedrops they are preservative free and I don’t use the over-the-counter refresh or other common brands. Anyway sorry for the long comment but I know dry I can be a very uncomfortable experience! i’m sure your doctor has told you how to massage the eyelids after the compress, and how to clean your eyelashes regularly, etc.… But it is so hard to figure out the exact custom routine to get an effective treatment. I hope you get relief :-)

Hi Claire, hope you’re doing well. Since a lot of people experience under eye bags due to a sleep disorder (I am one of them) or simply due to aging, could you do a review of the “LuminEye LED under eye patches”? I just came across this product and looks like this fills the gaps of red light masks or lamps, since you need to cover your eyes with those. With this solution, you solely target your eyes area. They claim 94% under eye bags and dark circles are visibly reduced in 3 weeks. So that sounds promising… Would love to see your take on this. Thank you and keep on doing the great work!

This was really interesting. Your skin looks absolutely gorgeous! So fresh, bright and plumped, so whatever you’re doing, it’s working! My big problem is skin laxity. I’m in my 60s and my mother had really saggy skin from being in her late 40s so I fear I’ve inherited some of those genes. I’m quite interested in RF for skin tightening but reluctant to spend the money if it isn’t going to work. Love this channel, Clare. Thank you for your hard work on bringing us the best information for aging skin. ❤️

It changed my life but am trying to understand about kin health and what is too much. Since I own it, I can easily overdo it! @@kimberly6123 I have a Hooga panel. I contacted their support and was recommended 10 min at a time about 12inches or so from the panel. They said that i could use more than once a day. An influencer here on youtube Jodylynn recommends using the Hooga panel 12in away from your face for 5 min and 30 sec a day 5 days a week. She based that recommendation from info found in Ari Whitten's book. That calculation can also be found on a website where you can input your devices info and it will calculate how long you should use it for and how far away you should be from your device with the goal of anti-aging.

Lots of great information in this video, thank you! Do you know, or can you ask next time, what pulse rate or rates are being used in "pulsed red light therapy"? I have a NIR helmet (1070 nm wavelength, Neuradiant 1070 from Neuronic) that lets me set different pulse rates over a broad range. I could use the helmet on my face for a few minutes at 10 or 20 or 40 Hz, maybe I'll play with it some. For me, the benefits to skin are pretty subtle. I use an Omnilux Men for 10 minutes every other day and have for around 7 months and it seems to help, but frankly azelaic acid and adapalene are a lot more dramatic on my skin. I have also used a Platinum LCD BioMax 900 panel and the effect on my vision is fantastic! I get better acuity, color intensity and even improvements to presbyopia (the need for reading glasses) after 7 and a half minutes with the light at full power 10 inches from my face. Charging the mitochondria in and around my eyes seems to make a huge difference in my ability to see well. The same treatment even seems to improve my sense of smell, probably for the same reason (more ATP production makes everything work better). Keep bringing Bev back, she has a wealth of knowledge!

It's called a healing crisis (Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction). I found that when I use red light therapy or any other treatment that works, I go through a phase where things get worse before getting better. Just like massive die off of germs inside your body can lead to swelling due to the body not being able to flush the dead cells rapidly enough, I experience a 'bad' breakout when attacking the problem. If I had no issues before treatment, then begin getting breakouts during or after treatment, then it stands to reason that the treatment is 'shaking' things up. If Red Light did not affect the issue... then why would it cause a breakout? My Theory is that the germs, virus, bacteria, fungus or whatever is causing your body issues ARE affected which causes breakouts. I believe that it is part of the process that things sometimes have to get worse before getting better. ALSO, even after treatment appears to be successful, I think it is important to keep going with the treatment even after you think that you've won, since germs are so resilient.
@RoSario-vb8ge

I find red light therapy very interesting , but there is also a controversial discussion about the wave frequency, since it depends on the kind of red light, how far it enters the body and since you can't feel the heat, may damage body tissues. I am using red light therapy in my profession and it has a lot of benefits treating arthritis and pain. But patients cover their eyes. So I wondered a lot about the eye mask. I am very interested learning more about its affect. For electrotherapy on the face I would suggest micro electrotherapy which works with battery.

I have a less expensive non brand name light mask with a bunch of different colors which I rarely use. It feels claustrophobic on my face. I have thinning older skin which is easily marked by anything pressed against it. So...I bought a 12 inch x 12 inch Red Light Board. Red is what I am most interested in. The NM'S match the preferred SPECS of red light that Ms. Sanderson is mentioning. I like it very much. I like the flexibility of turning left or right to work on the worst pigmentation which is on my cheeks. You can't do that with a Mask.

I have the mask so what's the point of having to use a separate eye and lip mask?. Doesn't the mask cover most of it? Not any lights above the lip though, so I put the mask on my lip area for a few minutes.
@thehonestchannel
@thehonestchannel Жыл бұрын
The lip mask I tried for six weeks because I was sent it and it's designed to be worn right up against the lips like a dummy, so it's a little different to the mask. No need to buy one if you already have a mask though. I use a separate eye mask because my eyes are a problem area and so I deliberately give them a little extra each day. I use the eye mask for 3mins when I work out every morning and then I use the mask every other night. For most people, a mask or panel is perfectly sufficient if you want to try red light.
