Great to hear a pro's perspective and in-depth analysis of games like this, it really helps me hone in on what I should be focusing on in various situations.

I really appreciate that you'll review a match loss. Those are the matches we learn the most from. Most players only publicly review their wins, understandably so. I'm just your average player (just breaking into the 4.0 level), and learn a lot from these videos. Much appreciated!

17:08 the way I think if it is that if they offer it I'll tap paddles, but i agree that it's kinda dumb after the first game. But imo it's disrespectful to not if they offer it.

Enjoy your analysis TY ... dont forget to enjoy the game of pickleball - you dont have to view ur opponent as "the enemy" - positive energy will lift one higher than negative - as Tyson does and dont forget u r also in the entertainment business as a pro athlete - ok for a TWEENER now in then :-) Have some fun out there. You have what it takes to in the TOP 3 across the board very soon - put more fun into ur play - and u dont need a 2handed backhand at the baseline 2 do it - and dont let Riley's disdain and somewhat sour attitude influence you - paddle taps r ok - he hasnt shown up in (m)any finals since he made this an issue. Be yourself, have fun, and look forward to see u in more finals soon.

Great to see you talk about your mental during the match & that small motion to "throw away" the mistake you made and move onto the next point. Love that you talked about it & great to see your progress in it!

CA, just an observation and I've watched your previous analysis of your matches but this one you seemed way more intense verging on anger through a lot of the play. I also noticed your breath control wasn't apparent and this might help balance the intensity that builds in competition which if not controlled unforced errors creep in. You are a warrior and we love the total honesty and emotion you give us in these match analysis.

Hey Christian! That was my first PPA tournament I've ever been to, and it was great meeting you in person!

I think you'd also benefit from watching the match alone and listening to the commentators -- they are giving solid analysis of your choices, strengths, and deficits. They also offer good insight into your opponent's deficits -- that can inform your next match against them, giving you weaknesses to concentrate on to exploit in their games.

RELAX is the word I think you wanted to say. The more relax the better the decision.

quick tip for singles, pick up the diadem vice on the backwall and hope nobody notices. Guaranteed to improve the drives by 10 mph. In all seriousness though really enjoying the breakdown and it's always hard to control your emotions and not blow up when you car so much.

Why did you feel it would be advantageous to switch away from your (natural) one-handed backhand to a two for pickleball?

Shake it off like a qb who throws a pick 6. Like a relief pitcher who hangs a curve ball over the middle . Like a basketball player who misses 3 three pointers in a row. The ones who can forget them the easiest seem to be the best. Amnesia my brother. You’re a beast. Stay up and show em who’s boss. 🤘

Do you think Tyson hits his serves above the waist? The rule doesn't seem to be heavily enforced but I could be ignorant on it.
