Did u check the monitors refresh rate because you might have to change it in your settting as sometimes they aren’t automatically set to the highest hz

@@callum4vis525 you right click your home screen and u go to the nvidia control panel. Then you go to 'Change resolution' and you should see a refresh rate option and you just chose the highest because that will be your monitors refresh rate

i have a good pc as well. ryzen 7 3800x @ 4.4 32gb DDR4 3600mhz ROG STRIX RTX 3070 Oc when i stream apex or rocket league i get over 100 fps drop in game. Zero issues with obs, my stream always stays at 720p 60fps but gamer performance drops. Without streaming i get around 200 fps in Apex and a capped 250 in rocket league @ 1440p. But when i stream apex drops to 100fps and rocket league drops to 150. all while my cpu never goes over 75% and GPU nevcer goes over 85%. hope this works

Great video! For anyone that are not helped by this: I spent about 20 hours in forums and watching clips on how to solve fps streaming issues without any success. Turns out having your screen connected to the motherboard is a really bad idea. If you are in the same situation as me, make sure to connect any hdmi/dvi cables directly into the Graphic card. Now I can stream in 60fps without any problems, and all games run so much smoother!

My recording works fine when I cap my game fps to 60fps. I have a very good gaming PC and 240hz monitor . I don't like playing at 60fps I'm not use to it anymore it doesn't feel smooth at all. What you do is you cap your Framerate ingame to 240fps then for your obs/Streamlabs video, you lower the FPS for the output then you can head over to the output tab and change bitrate accordingly to the output video quality, you can probably find an online source for the recommended bitrate for certain output resolutions

@@ashtonfruehauf4222 ive found my solution, its a bit weird but it seems to work, before i used normal obs, and now i am using: StreamElementsOBS.Live (runned on administrator always) and when i am starting up obs live and start streaming i still have the same ''not smooth'' , but if i restart my computer (after i started up the game + obs live once) and open both applications again like normal, it worked and i can stream 144 fps smoothly! :)

no i’m sorry but that pc will hardly get 60fps for fortnite when streaming, Not only upgrade but your fly aswell look on you’ve for cheap pc guides but never get a get 1030 the minimum that you should choose is the gtx 1050 as with that you can prob get 100fps when playing and streaming, if you don’t believe me go to my last video and in the description it shows my specs, i spent just under $300 and it’s very good
