I've used a "T-Bar" that allows you to stand on a platform and I've used the "chest supported" T-Bar Row. The "chest supported" doesn't allow me to breath properly, the pressure from the pad against my chest keeps me from taking a good breath. By the time I finish the set, I'm like a dog panting, almost.

So how many warm up sets and at what % of our 5x5 working weight?
@sng39393 ай бұрын
5x5 imo is kinda outdated. Maybe if you’re purely focused on strength then sure. But if your main goal is to build size and strength then what I personally do is work to a heavy set. E.g,. Doing 4-6 reps say on bench until I get to 2 plates. That set I do as many as possible, say 4. Next week I’ll focus on getting 5 or more. Now after this heavy set I usually do 1-2 back offs sets with a slightly lighter weight but still in the 6-10 rep range, going close or to failure. This way you build both.
@yayz94422 ай бұрын
i'm sorry but if your bench is only 2 plates, then you have no room to talk about anything regarding strength training lol
