Remember when you could just play a game and enjoy it for what it is? Not these endless grind mechanics to keep up engagement. A good game keeps you coming back because its fun and naturally engaging not because theres a system fabricated to do so

@@MarioDiamond63 Dude what’s the point of getting the coins when there’s nothing in the game seasons hasn’t come out yet once you play the Cubs you could pretty much get all the gear you need this game is empty it’s bare and it’s sucks if you are really that happy with this you’ve really sets your standards incredibly low

@@richiemazze5141 I’m trying to get coins since I want to be prepared for 1. Getting different gear set ups for different characters 2. Getting gear for the free dlc characters. Also the gameplay loop is really fun, despite the lack of characters and stages, which are the only thing that’s lacking compared to previous games.

Personally, I just decided to fully equip my 4 fav characters and I'm keeping whatever I earn for DLC characters.

When it comes to getting coins in Mario Strikers: Battle League, I elect to simply customize each character as I see fit. On average, I spend about 500 coins per player (as some may have the Bushido gear). Now that I have unlocked gear for every base game character and the first two DLCs, I am saving up for any future waves. What I stick with is grinding out the regular tournaments, although I might consider trying a Galactic Cup later down the line. Nice video. I like how you encouraged players to simply have fun with Strikers.

Best way to get coins for me is constantly play galactic cups. Gives you 100 coins for recompleting them.

Honestly I'm glad there isn't a quick and dirty way to rack up a stupid-high amount of coins, because it incentivizes playing the game legitimately rather than grinding out one dirty method

what NLG SHOULD'VE done was, if you bought one piece of gear, it would be available to ALL characters. Having to buy the same set multiple times is just ludicrous. This way it would let us try out different builds easier and earlier, thus letting us create our ideal setups for playstyles faster, instead of having to grind enough to even get one piece or a full set, trying it out, not liking it, and then go "why did I waste my money on that?", because by this point, most players would likely get sick of the game and drop off.

Aside from matches, I think the gear & coins are the second type of content to do. Also I believe shooting & technique are the best stats.

Yeah agreed. But it's also important to have someone with speed passing and power on your team to balance it out. I put technique and shooting gears on toad and he is preety good.

@@squidsurge71 As of now this is how I rank the stats: 1. Shooting or Technique - The game is all about making goals. These stats help you make goals easier. 2. Speed or Passing - Speed: If you perfect dodge, perfect hit, or use the Mushroom you go crazy fast. - Passing: Timing isn't required but helps getting the ball around. 3. Strength - All it does is tackle. You can use items on enemies.

That doesn't make sense to say. The best stats depend on the role of the character. You don't wanna run 4 characters with high shooting and high technique or you'll be destroyed by a real team with fast and strong defenders who will be able to outscore you with a single striker character

that's actually very reasonable. You can't get it all instantly, but why should you ? Besides you don't need all the gear, you'll probably ever end up using like 30-40% of it.

The game is wayyy to scrimpy with the amount of coins it gives out. Yes, there are a lot in the beginning, but once that is spent, like, say, in the time up to the release of new characters and/or gear, it takes ages to get more. I recently picked the game back up again to create a final team for myself from the DLC content, and it took me one and a half days of play to get the coins to equip my team, even considering that I already owned some of it and was going as it as efficiently as I could.

You don't need to buy all the gear for every character, that makes no sense, most characters have a clear best way to play them and you won't need to change their gear at all, you'll only need 4 items for each character if you know what you're doing, and even then you probably won't be using all the characters as some are better than others
