Vince - there are 'room Impulse responses' (I used FIVE IRs to get this sound, of which two "rooms" in stereo, which are provided in the package) AND then, in a similar fashion to the original STEREO recording (not the mono one) I panned an EMT140 reverb (plate) to the right. Hope this clears it up! So if you put headphones on, you WILL hear the main sound (stereo) being the FIVE IRs and THEN, mostly to the right, a "plate" reverb.

Yep - that too. Clapton explains it though, it was a rather broad concept (haha) - he would do it on the treble, rhythm pickup and or both. In short, wherever it was necessary.
