With a good DNS you can get better loading times when opening pages and you dont do that on a playstation so i dont know why would this help but i recommend having at least a wifi 5 router and a good internet service provider. (ISP)

It depends on what country your in so some countries or places will probably slow you down for the most part and some other places make it better if we're talking about upload and download speeds But if your talking about connection to servers not hosts what I mean by hosts like the old cod games there was a host not a server like a player who hosts the game Any ways if your hoing to play in servers just use the custom DNS like googles or cloudfare but and like really this is important if your going to play in a hosted game do not ever use custom DNS always go for automatic
