Summarized list to not forget 💕 1) Put all important dates in google calendar: color grade them by difficulty and track assignments progress with notion or google spreadsheets 2) The first 2 weeks are the most important and fun 3) Know the grade breakdown: get to know how much each assignment is worth your grade. Set time aside to do the most important assignments first 4) Do well and work hard in the beginning to get good grades, this is VITAL 5) Be active in class and ask questions: this shows the teacher that you care and might help you out in the long run 6) Network with your teachers and get to know them 7) Have friends that are smarter than you: they will help you and can explain concepts you don’t understand 8) Try to make friends with upperclassmen of your major 9) Form study groups and connections 10) Maintain your grades 11) spend more energy and time on the hardest classes and assignments: sometimes willpower and energy is not enough 12) Study with active recall, with practice tests and flash cards. Don’t wait till last minute to study!! 13) Make a test for yourself based off your lecture notes: focus on studying what you don’t know 14) Have designated study, homework and rest days: it’s better to have deep focus study days than to study distracted everyday 15) Keep up with your health: Being good and healthy comes first, then studying‼️ 16) Prevent getting sick by eating healthy, good sleep schedule and keeping up with your vitamins 17) Find ways to manage your stress: with therapy, counseling, praying, support friend group, talk with parents, etc. anything that works best for you 18) Make sure the degree that you’re pursuing aligns with the lifestyle you want in the future 19) Degree does not equal salary: field and experience does 20) utilize every resource and connection: student discounts, networking, career advice 21) Networking, it’s not about what you know but who you know: relationships are crucial to where you want to go 22) Networking is just building beneficial relationships: don’t just focus that you need to get benefited but that it might pay off in the long run 23) connect with your professors: eventually your gonna need letters of recommendation 24) get involved in (clubs, RA, internships) to network: interships can become job opportunities after you graduate 25) experiences provide proof and growth of skills: it can help with job interviews 26) networking is about being yourself and building genuine relationships so be kind to others Hope this helps, feel free to tell me about anything that I left out

A extremely helpful study hack I use is I record audio of myself reading my notes and then I play the audio while I drive to school (I have a long commute). Even if u don't have a long commute I feel like u could totally listen to the audio while doing mindless chores etc. In the audio I usually repeat things twice to help me remember and I speak slowly so that as I listen I can try to remember the thing before I say it the second time in the audio. Honestly this has helped me so much when I wait till last minute to study and don't have much time

@@youtubecommentergal4346 well the second semester is about to end so lemme tell u how it’s gone! I still don’t know what I wanna major it but I’m in CC (community college ) so maybe I’ll transfer maybe I won’t and that’s okay 😉. I’ve done a mixture of online and in person classes to keep it balanced and the online classes are easier to manage imo. But lowkey it’s been hard to make friends but imma take more elective classes in the following semesters so I’ll let u know how that goes! Other than that don’t be intimidated like Ik it’s stressful but as lone as u manage ur classes and time you should be fine! Just see when homework assignments are due and revise before any quizzes/exams! Trust I was hella nervous about math and psychology but it’s actually pretty fun! Use rate my professor to see what people have been saying about professors on classes you might take! It’s sure saved me omfg

I’m sort of getting back in my shell but after praying, and scrolling through KZbin and finding your video, I’m analyzing my syllabus and getting my materials together. God bless you, and everyone else reading this as well. You got this trust me, you’re the holder and the key to your own destiny, stay safe everyone and remain stubborn (in the right way).

From a college senior who has a 3.4 GPA and got an A in Spanish in high school: Try to talk to your teacher. If they know you care they'll care. Ask if you can revise assignments.
