Part 1- Beautiful ride from Matt! Artfulness! Part 2 - Rio's face, "Really, I have to wear this?" anti poop bag. Part 3 - Very cool Salt water bath, like literally. Great business idea (mobile). Thanks again & Cheers to a great weekend! ❣️🍀

The only thing I don't understand is, if we can't take that kind of cold for long, how can the horses? It doesn't seem to bother them....

I have a horse in rehab for a suspensory ligament injury and this would be so beneficial! I'll have to see if I can find a location in Washington state.

The cooling of inflammation has a lot of evidenced based science behind it; I have a Paget’s disease of bone, a rare metabolic bone disease & it has affected the entire left side of my pelvis, hip socket, acetabulum & femur - the bone pain is agonising. My pain specialist & rheumatologist have advised me to use ice to reduce the inflammation & pain. I’ve been known to use the Ice Vibe boots at horse shows to help with the pain lol 💋♥️

Interesting, on Rio's shoulder he's got that bump on the left, my mare has the exact same thing on her right from getting kicked in the field. I love and find it interesting how it doesn't effect them, since Rio is a top level reining horse going to the NRBC and my mare competes in the FEI levels in 3-day eventing.

Good luck at the shows! Can you tell me why the horses can stand that cold temperature at the “spa”
@cjennings19714 жыл бұрын
This is what I want to know also! I cant stand the cold and I understand everything the guy said but 16 minutes in that. Wow.
@jackieotab-brickey65034 жыл бұрын
I wonder if it’s because horses circulation begins with their legs. Horses regulate and cool their body temperatures by the blood going down into their legs and running back through the body....but athletes do ice baths all the time. When muscle is “shredded” constantly- heat pressure and tension in the muscles build up and the best way to relieve that is through colder temperatures. .sitting in cold water brings body temperature down to help with tight muscles and tendons in the legs. (For the horse) just like icey/hot. I could be 100% wrong! Just a guess

Greta Simmons// that's true. His father is black and his mother is white. His wife Karen was a hairdresser from the San Fran Bay area. I read he was the only kid in the neighborhood growing up that preferred Tony Lamas over Air Jordans. Love that.

I had to do this after basketball games in University. It was TORTURE. I dont know how horses handle it. Are you doing this after every competition run on your horses if it’s available?

Right?!? Yea we use it whenever available. Soon we will have one at our facility and will use it everyday when needed!

Hi Matt, I love your videos. I just bought a 5yr old palomino reining horse. I love him and he’s well trained however I would love some tips on how to keep his mane and tail white.
@mattmillsreining14 жыл бұрын
Cool! How’s your bred? Mane n tail care? We will get that on the list
@kaylacrone40994 жыл бұрын
Matt Mills my gelding is an all Canadian bred quarter horse. His registered name is Sparks Go Boom, I just call him Boo. And I put mane and tail detangler in, but his mane and tail are just so dry! He has a thicc tail and long mane. I also use a whiting shampoo to whiten his tail, but not too often cause it’s so dry. I am going to start putting conditioner in it maybe once a week to help it. It would be great if you could do a video on the products you use on your horses body.

Dead sea salts in a hot bath, msm and a pot of pleurisy/elecampagne will totally unlock a pinched nerve in the back and make a human feel all better. I am a big believer in the dead sea salts and ice. I guess if you live close enough you can just go to the ocean.
