Yes, very good question. I would say if you are already attaching cover letter then email should be short and concise and focus on not wasting other's time much. Find the name of HR and write: Dear (Name otherwise Dear Sir/ Ma'am), I came across a very exciting position on your job portal that I believe fits me perfectly. I am interested in applying for the position of (Job Title). After reading the job description and requirements and matching it with my own experiences. I have attached a cover letter, resume, and certificates for your consideration. Please take a moment to go through them. I would love to talk to you in more detail regarding this amazing opportunity at your company. Looking forward to hear back from you regarding my application. Best regards, ....

Hi Shraddha, wonderful video again. I agree completely. I´d like to add something from the employers side, since I had some interns in public administration and private company (airport): 1. I was always impressed when applicants where not only focussed on their thesis and their studies, but as well in the organisation or the company as a whole (as you mentioned). 2. I only took interns, which would fit into the team. That means if they can get along with other colleagues, being able to integrate, bringing fresh ideas in and so on. 3. I always made a plan with the interns, which included learning about the work of other departments of the organisation to understand the environment of our department. So they always started working/learning for several days in different parts of the organisation. The plan included always an agreement about common goals (e.g. certain contributions to a project). I think there should always be a plan with interns. It has to be clear, who will be the mentor or responsible Person in the organisation. This person should take part in the interviews. 4. Some interns are treated as cheap workforce (most organisations are short on staff). So make shure, that both sides benefit from your internship. This abuse of interns I´ve seen very often even from colleagues. Intenships have to be a give and take from both sides. You should try to find out in the interviews. Have a nice weekend! Dettmar

Hi Dettmar! You are very right. I had one experience where I felt the company was very big but the way they treated me or interacted was not liked by me. So, I joined other company which was smaller then previous one but work culture is the best I would ever find. I am so happy now.🙂👍
