Hey Katherine! I don’t know where I had my personal statement but I can give u a brief outline of what I said (there’s also many examples online if u look). I mentioned a couple of my favourite designers, why I would be an asset at their school, and what makes me different from all the other applications. ALSO you should NEVER write anywhere on your portfolio “I’ve always been into fashion ever since I was young”, or any sort of sentence like that. They get it ALL the time so sometimes they won’t even bother reading the rest if that’s your first sentence. Also, the first paragraph is always the most crucial part so make sure it hooks them!!

I loved the series!! Just curious, the international introduction to the study of fashion level 3 says to submit up to 45 portfolio pages for applications. Do you recommend applicants have the full 45 or do most people tend to have less that that or will they even view applications with say 25 pages? Thank you!!
