Hey, today I have a different kind of video for you!!
This video is all about 5 ways (plus a BONUS) that I stay productive and focused so I can reach my goals in record time.
I know... I know...
I've never made a video like this on my channel before!
Truth is, I made this video over a month ago. I was "batch recording" content (that means I was recording multiple videos, one right after the other) and I felt like making a video that was a bit more personal.
As I mentioned in this video, I am constantly looking for ways to optimize my time to get more done FASTER, because I always have really big goals and I know I won't achieve them if I waste time.

PS. I forgot to mention in the video that I still use social media on my computer. I deleted the apps on my phone so that I don't get distracted during the day when I work. And, when I sit down at my computer, I sit down with a plan of action. I don't just scroll mindlessly though Facebook, KZbin, etc.
Social media is just a tool... it can waste your time or you can use it strategically (like I do) to build your network and improve your life! :D

I really should have mentioned this in the video, but I forgot! I deleted my social media apps from my phone but still use them on my computer... and this is a strategy I highly recommend! That way you can plan your "computer time" in advance, stay focused, and be intentional about what you research, create, and consume. If you have all these apps on your phone, you will likely waste HOURS every day mindlessly scrolling through videos and newsfeeds whenever you get bored. Sorry if that caused any confusion! I still use Facebook and KZbin, but I use them strategically to build my network and run my business. Essentially, I used them to stay focused on my goals. The internet is just a tool... the way we use it makes all the difference! It can either waste our time or help us build our dream life :D Anyhow, I teach my students how to use social media strategically to meet native English speakers, practice their English, build their professional network, start online businesses, and reach their goals. There is no confusion here. As a software engineer and developer, I can say that overuse of social media causes problems in terms of time management. On the other hand, we should use it for our own purposes such as learning foreign languages, meeting people from our own progression. Balance... This is the secret key of this matter.

Our natural tendency is always to do whatever feels better in the moment... and usually it's never anything productive. We have to fight that if we want to achieve our goals. Even though I'm really good at getting stuff done, I still fall into old habits and have to constantly reevaluate how I use my time. But it's worth it 100%! I really hope you "buckle down" and launch this KZbin channel of yours! I think you are really going to like it. Also, later this year I plan to launch a course for people who are serious about succeeding on KZbin. I'll give you guys more information as soon as I'm ready to launch :D
