"You Won’t Always Be Motivated You Must Learn To Be Disciplined" .. this phrase helped me to shift my mindset on working out. And setting a routine is super important. I don't see working out as a chore but as part of my routine (like showering, getting dressed, etc.) And the most important thing: do the workouts you enjoy (especially if you want to start getting into a fitness routine). If you don't like running, don't run. if you don't like weight lifting, don't lift.

I agree! I’m gonna start thinking of it that way. Implementing it into your daily routine and think of it as just something that is a must. Just like brushing your teeth, getting dressed etc. Thank you 😊

@@MsPinkGlam You are more than welcome :) I know it's not as easy as it sounds ... but once you're getting set into a routine, it feels weird not to work out. But I would recommend taking 1-2 rest days/week.

i like going to the gym but becuse of money tbh i cant go anymore, i tried to workout at home even got a mini Trampoline but i always stop after three weeks max and usually my motivation fades during and after peiord, just saw your comment and thought i should say that maybe sth would help me get back, also i love dancing but even that doesnt really become a routine. i do it from time to time for fun 🥹

Tbh healthy Whole Foods are great and should make a majority of your food but it’s impossible to have a diet consisting only of them and we should take the pressure off of people to strive for that! Also for my gut health I can’t eat just Whole Foods, I need some artificial sugar in my life 🤣

your videos are an art in itself. i’ve watched more productive vlogs more than movies and shows in the past two years. i have never found a channel that is as well-made, motivating, and calming as yours. it’s not just you talking, a well-written voiceover is done over videos of you actually executing your message. they’re like self-help books but easy to consume and like it’s coming from a big sister. you actually show how your days look like but the video never feels like it’s just about you, but rather what the viewers can take away. sorry this was super long but i’m in awe :”)

I read that it is dangerous to consume too much since protein is often used by athletes.high-performance athletes, and who consume large amounts because their body uses everything they consume, but if you consume too much and do not use it, that protein can even go to the organs and cause cancer

There are calculators and equations - for muscle gain you should eat 1-2g of protein per kg of body weight. I don’t really track tho I just try to have at least one source of protein in my meals (protein powder in my oats, eggs for breakfast, meat or veggie alternatives for my main courses…) 💙

this video is so wonderful. definitely getting a sub from me :) for the first time in my entire life, i’m being consistent going to the gym. for me, the biggest “motivating” or driving factors to get me to show up are: 1. having exercise goals that aren’t aesthetically based (getting stronger, being able to move when i get older, etc.) 2. knowing that because my main goal isn’t to “get hot for the summer,” it’s okay if i take a day off or tweak my routine. it really IS about the journey. ENJOYING the exercise and becoming comfortable with altering my workout plan will keep me more consistent!

Im having a hard time taking rest days. I taught my self to enjoy the rest days but still rest days feel like the longest day in my week. and Im more in to intense workouts,when I try a low impact it doesnt give me the satisfaction.Now after much research I let my self rest and enjoy
