How To Get Perfect Niche Alignment

That's the ONLY way if you want PERFECT alignment with the grout lines. It will delay tile setting for a day or two depending on waterproofing method but I'd rather have the perfect alignment rather than looking at an ugly placed niche for the next 10 years or more. Well done. A lot of "professionals" can't achieve these results.

Do you waterproof the niches after the first few rows of tiles?

Yes I did just for extra protection. So far so good 👍

How did your grout line go from right and left on the niche wall to a centre grout line? Looks way off from over here...

After putting in the trim pieces and grouting, it looks perfect. 👍
