Hello Petrina.I am so glad I found your new channel! I am applying for the D7 visa and I plan on coming in April or May pending approval. I will be working remotely. I do have a question, they ask to provide proof of 6 months of accommodations, but I was told that they do not accept Airbnb. Do you know of any other way to obtain this requirement? I don't really trust getting a rental without seeing the property and being locked in. Your suggestion is appreciated. Thank you!

Hello Lisa, welcome over here😊. You can just get a hotel reservation and an Airbnb reservation. 6 months is alot, get 4 months first for D7 stage 2 is 4 months, they trust hotel bookings more or friends accommodation details more. Airbnb you can suit to it after you are here and you can move from hotel to Airbnb. Or you can get a location Manager to find you something and they can take you to the venues and video screen the property before you arrive. It's more pricey to get one but very helpful as they can go to different areas for you. There a video coming up end February on first Apartment checklist so keep an eye out for that. I have heard that they don't check if you have a stable income, as long as you have 15000 euros in your savings which is supposed to cover your living expenses for a whole year! Do you thing this is accurate?

No they check regardless, unless you perhaps show your business papers or proof of 15000 and how you made it as it will show on your statement and background checks are carried out. It can happen but very very rare. Everybody won't have the same experience so keep that In mind.🙂

You can become eligible with your 1200 Euros pm for D7 as a retiree. Just make sure you have all the other documents sorted too even though your finances are what will likely get you the D7 visa.

Hello there, a lot of important questions I see here. Double taxation will happen regardless, though there could be some rewards if yous till apply for the NHR but that is not always the case ( a good accountant would be your best way to find reduction on taxation etc) D7 normally counts for the main amount per month which I have stated in the video and NHR approval is based on your success to provide substantial financial reports. I would advise you make sure your business has an e-commerce interface for your transition to be better. Hope this is helpful!
