Are used to have severe cat allergies to the point that I could not breathe, and now I can be around like 3 to 4 cats with a slight reaction. That’s only from exposing myself to cats more.

I’m around my 2 cats for 2 years now and I’m still allergic. My eyes are permanently red because of exposure to the cats and people would asked me if I’m ok. I’m sad

I got my kitten & first two weeks,I have been touching my face after all disappeared and I knew,it all in our mind😉she is now 16 years with me,I would never leave her just because a little rush in face,of hair. Now hairs everywhere and it's just the hair🤗

@@wyndlydoes your throat itch when you have allergies? If so, I’m allergic to cats but I have 6-7 cats in my house :D

But I’m not allergic to dander, but rather the saliva

Would sublingual immunotherapy be something that can be done with a child of less than 3 years old? Also are these generally covered by insurance?

I feel like this is conflicting if I already have a cat at home, and I am receiving shots at the office, won't that make it impossible to expose myself to the correct dosages of dander? I feel like you need to explain what to do if you already have a cat at home.

ive had cats all my life but ive been getting more sensitive and getting more allergic to cats these days

For me it started severe but it’s slowly getting better, but just very slowly, but everyone is different

@@zeena4615 The cat allergies were severe once I turned 4, I had to be rushed to the hospital because my body was weakening and I couldn’t eat nor drink. I am now older and it is way less severe. Before I would get rashes and I would have shortened breath but now I only get itchy red eyes. It stay severe for about a year until my body got used to the cats protiens

@@Artistic-image thank you for replying, mine was fine for the first 4-5 months then i got flu and with the flu my body developed an allergy against cats I sneeze ALOT and have stuffiness with runny nose . I has been a year and it’s getting worse with itchy eyes too

Does the sublingual spray also have a potential to cause anaphylaxis? Typically, I’ve only seen patients do injection immunotherapy and then wait in the waiting room for 20 minutes to ensure that a moderate-severe reaction doesn’t occur. I’m not a doctor or nurse btw but a medical assistant with a severe allergy to the protein in cat saliva. Although, I desperately want to get a cat lol
