here's my recipe:(p.s it works amazingly) There's is not exact measurements but you just put the equally amount of oils into the bowl and mix.. just add as much oil as you want.. as long as it covers you hair from root to the tips:) I use: 1)Olive Oil 2)Coconut Oil 3)Almond Oil And the reason why I apply it to the root is to have my hair grow and also when I put it on my tips is to moisturize my hair to make them soft and silky:) I recommend to do this 1-2 times a week:) Like if you see this! Have a good day/night everyone!!

I have long hair to my waste but my split ends are so bad there on both side of my hair and in order to move it all i would have to get a bob but I want to grow my hair to the floor :(. I never use heat and I take such good care of it. Its not fair and its to hard to cut the ends out when it looks like my hair is layered with split ends. I always use masks and oil but nothing works.. Can someone help me?
@Stalevines9 жыл бұрын
You can't get rid of split ends unless you cut them. And if you don't cut them, they will just keep getting worse. Just thought I'd clear that up because a lot of people think you can just 'seal them up'. Although a moisturizing mask will make them not look as bad.
@emilygarnica26988 жыл бұрын
It's hard to get rid of split ends but I go to lush and get this split end mender thing and it works great.! Rarely have to cut my hair and lush has organic products so it's not damaging at all, and since then I have seen less split ends and my hair is not as dry :)
@Stalevines8 жыл бұрын
+Emily garnica | | That sounds awesome. I would really like to try out a Lush product. Organic is the way to go! But like I just said, you can't just 'get rid of them'. The only thing you can really do is cut them. And prevent them; i.e. not using heat/ not coloring your hair.

When you reach your desired length but the ends of your hair look fried and dry even tho you've never touched your hair, it's fully natural and the only time you use "damaging" things on it is on special occasions which means twice a year

The *Argan rain %100 Pure Argan Oil* is a great product. I have used another brand in the past but feel that this one works just as well. I use at as a leave in conditioner mostly at night because I feel it really hydrates my hair. In doing this my hair looks so much better as far as shine and body and I don't have as many flyaways. My ends are not nearly as dry as when I started using the Argan Oil which helps to not look so dull. I am happy with this product and will continue to use it as well.

Oh yeah, and here's another tip! If its hot out, wear a shower cap! Not only will this prevent the oil from staining furniture, but I've noticed that when its hot, they oil will tend to drip down your face and neck, especially if theres honey in it. The shower cap will stop that. :)

Oh man, I have tried growing my hair long all my life (I'm 30) and I have very thin hair as it is, but split ends are the bane of my life. I cut my own hair now and use a mixture of castor oil, aloe Vera gel, and vitamin E oil as a root mask to try and encourage it to grow. I "dust" my hair to maintain the length too and get rid of those broken ends. I never dry my hair after washing and sleep on a silk pillow case......I still ain't a fricking Rapunzel

@mrsconnor68559 жыл бұрын
@ cute Emmy. All of the hair from the root, to the very tips is "dead" technically speaking. Split ends also split in a horizontal manner so they don't really travel up the hair shaft whatsoever. Split ends just a create a bend, or fuzz like appearance at the bottom of the hair shafts. Which give it a frizzy or ratty appearance. Trimming is mainly for the look of keeping a nice appearance to the hair. Once you have split ends they will eventually break off on their own. Trimming just gets rid of them faster.

the easiest thing to use is vasiline for your split ends it's like a miracle it worked for me put it on for 20 mnts then wash your hair brush and your hair gets soft and jo more split ends

@AmeeraNassir8 жыл бұрын
I wait maybe 15 minutes and then wash it out in the shower so my hair can absorb as much product as possible!

To me, it looks like all of the difference in the split ends can be chalked up to the light trim. I'm not sure I see much, if any, difference between the before and after on the hair mask.

How many times do you recommend doing this a week?
@AmeeraNassir8 жыл бұрын
Once a week tops!!! Twice or three times a month is okay if your ends are really bad but don't do it too much or your hair will get a bit oily!
