So, I went to the Beacon and did an assessment. They didn't ask me for a homeless letter or any required documents, just told me I am on the waiting list. My friend, who is in the exact same situation as I am , went on to the next step and they asked her for documentation....told her when to come back etc

Good Morning , So beside HUD you have the option to apply at a COC but most of these places are closed right now, Try applying by calling 211 or 311.
