Junior year of high school, the summer before, I went to the gym, learned how to style my hair, found my style, figured out how to be confident and started to talk more. 5/6 of these I have used and all of them worked! I have spent years and years and years on self-improvement. Every time I reach a certain level, I realize that there is so much more. I am 40, and if I now look back to when I was 20 or 25, there is so much change. One thing I must work on is eye contact, which at the moment isn't consistent. I have also started acknowledging that not every day will be the same. It is ok to sometimes feel miserable, low, or underconfident temporarily. I mustn't beat myself up for feeling that way. Acknowledge and move on.
