@@mendelson6052 I’m 85 atk/str 83 def 93 range and 74 pray if you get ur prayer up for rigour it definitely helps alot I’m a main and haven’t played any pure or certain builds in YEARS so idk how that fairs out for you but if you can do it I’d get that prayer up a bit more atleast I didn’t wear max gear either

@@mendelson6052 first couple times I tried I was about 60def and 80 range and only had 60 prayer if that helps out and I got close a lot of times just couldn’t get my pray switches right mainly because of anxiety and trying to pay TOO much attention to the wrong things imo

Fire cape is easy to get, but I still remember the 72 attempts before I got one with my karils cbow back when I was a skiller. Once you got the cape it’s mandatory to continue the tradition of memeing on those without it. Even the inferno lads do it nowadays and I approve.

Protip if you watch when jad lifts his legs up. If the bottoms of his feet are facing forward pray range. If they're facing the ground pray mage. You can tell what to pray as soon as he lifts up instead of waiting. That's how panic happens.

did my fire cape at level 91 with 70 def, 1 ranging pot, 2 anglerfish, 11 brews, 14 super restores. got to jad with over 3 brews. I didn’t end up using the anglerfish, but they’re solid for healers so you dont have to brew+restore during jad. i ended the caves with about 6-7 restores left maybe more. After getting to jad, after a while of learning the timing to flick, jad didnt hit me for whole round, was able to 1 v 1 the healers easy. then get back to jad which the rest was just prayer flicking. a couple tips that helped me were definitely keeping auto retaliate off throughout the whole thing, visuals on jad attacks, keeping my mouse on the opposite of the current prayer i was using, and just 1 v 1ing healers each at a time by attacking as soon as i flicked my prayer for jad

It’s okay man, it’s just a cape in a game. No need to feel bad for not having it. I’m sure you’ll have it eventually. If you practice with the jad simulator and give it a few tries I guarantee you’ll get it. I recommend logging out between waves to take several breaks and just calm your nerves especially around wave 60. And I recommend hovering your current prayer but being ready to switch, so that in case you panic click you won’t switch to the wrong prayer. If you need to switch you just move your mouse over and switch. I believe in you, you just gotta believe in yourself, you’re no baddie. And not having a fire cape doesn’t make you bad tbh, it just means you don’t like losing that much time when you die which is perfectly understandable

I had my first attempt at jad on any RuneScape about a week ago and died at jad, only because I had no brews left and healers got me. I had 2 bastion pots a stamina 11 brews and rest was restores I was only using addy darts I have now upgraded to amesthyst and have a few dragon darts do you think it was the darts? my gear was similar to yours just with veracs helm and karils skirt should I try again with amethyst darts or should I take extra brews instead of the extra restores I took? I finished with 2 restores in my inv so if I switch one or both out it should be fine right?

2:28 If you don't have an Archer's ring a good ring to put in that slot would either be Explorer's Ring (+1 prayer bonus and Run Energy restoration which you might need if you wanna do it asap) or a Granite Ring (defense bonuses)
