I put tire band rubber band before gluing you don’t get a uneven lip on rubber on wheel. Put rubber band on first move it so lip is flush then pull back and glue it gives perfect even lip and more rubber contact area on wheel to glue. I think I see one of my old body clips haha!! I also take foam out when cleaning them whiling wiping them down Watch drake tire glue video. I use that same glue or loctite glue they both don’t come off. I always use a lot of glue and have excess overflow. I just use big fat rubber bands.

Whispering sweet nothings to the tire while gluing will ensure a proper bond.
