Hey y'all! Today's video is another yoga pose tutorial. The pose is Goddess Pose or Utkata Konasana. Goddess Pose is a yoga pose you'll see throughout many practices as it is very commonly used. There are many benefits to this pose, here are some from Gaia:
Stretches your hips, groin, and chest.
Tones and strengthens the core muscles.
Strengthens the quadriceps and inner thigh muscles.
Heats the body and increases circulation.
I love to incorporate this pose into many of my practices because I like how it encourages strength building in the lower body. It can be challenging, as you can tell (I was out of breath at the end). Let me know what pose you would like me to do a tutorial on next, leave it down in the comments. I just recently heard someone call this horse stance without the hands up but uh I’ll stick with goddess pose 🙂if it strengthens the glutes and legs and mobility in the hips/pelvic region with practice and duration? Yes please, I want to try this a few times throughout the week or every day
