Excellent video sir. I bought and cleaned up a whole one as you did, cut 3 filets. Then I ground up the rest with 2 pounds of jimmy dean sausage for spaghetti, burgers and like that. Thank you and enjoy your upcoming holiday season.

Great video just wondering what the time was start to finish after you got the temp to 250?
@SnSGrills3 жыл бұрын
That's a good question and we've started asking our creators to share that info since this video was created. I'm not sure exactly but my guess would be 45-60 minutes; however it's going to vary from cook to cook based on the size, shape and starting temp of the roast so always go by internal temps to avoid overshooting. Thanks for watching.

Outstanding cook, Rus! I’ll bet I could knock half of that thing out in no time lol.

Thanks Mike! I couldn't have ask for better results.
There is a theory that the colder the meat is when you put it on the fire the more smoke it will absorb. I have not tested this, but I do put the meat on the fire quite cold.
@SnSGrills3 жыл бұрын
This has mainly to do with the smoke ring. It stops forming after the meat reaches temps in the range of 150F, so the longer you keep the meat at cooler temps the more time it has to develop the smoke ring. Give it a try!

The beef looks fantastic. What country is this guy from? His accent is very odd and different. I can't guess what his nationality is.
