@@NMW80 pomegranates actually have a good cold resistances 🤔 Even more - fully grown pomegranates need to rest by the winter in a cold(5-7°C) dark place. But of course if a plant didn't get used to low temperatures and somebody place it in there - plant may get sick
@NMW804 жыл бұрын
KashoriDesu oh that’s great to hear Cos I live in bottom of Australia and we get cold winter around 5 - 7 degrees C. But we get a nice sunny hot summer here where it’s mainly in 30s and sometimes hits round 40 etc. I’m in a cold temperatate climate zone apparently. I’m going to buy some fresh pomegranates and try my luck with the seeds too 😊
@KathTheFox4 жыл бұрын
@@NMW80 I live in Russia 😅 In my area winters is about from -10°C to -30°C (But really cold day is a rare thing nowadays). My pomegranates pots are standing on a windowsill right next to a window, and last winter my window sometimes were be open and i didn't noticed any bad influence from cold (Ofc after watering them i didn't opened window for at least a day). Also some say that pomegranates love direct sunlight. I can't really proove it, cuz two of five pots, that i have, sometimes feel not so good under the Sun while others just love it. Maybe they are just a little bit weak 🤔 And also i have heard that then plant preparing it's fruit the taste of the fruit will be depending on a how much this plant did get the sunlight. If there was good sunny days most of the time - fruit will be sweet, otherwise it will be sour. I can't really proof it as well, cuz my pomegranates only blooming without fruits (They only almost 2 years old so it's understandable) I hope my English is not so awful and some of my tips helped you :D Happy gardening ^_^ (Oh, and read about forming pomegranates! If you do the right thing, you can turn your plant in to a tree, or in to a bonsai ;>)

@DIYHomeandGarden8 жыл бұрын
That lemon tree will not pollinate the pomegranate tree since they are different species. Also, if they are grown in the same pot, they will compete for nutrition and it will stunt their growth. Hope this helps.
