What I do is, do my back exercise after 2 sets, If I start to feel sorenes in my forearms, (which would damage my back failure) I then put on straps, It sonewhere tires my forearms and helps me to fail my back as well. Started this recently 2 months, intermediates can try this,

No buddy, try mobility exercises for hip flexor, glutes and other involved muscles. Dont feel low watching others deadlift and squat, stay focused and after sometime you will too..give atleast 3-4 mnths to mobility or it will grow more. Dont compare yourself with others

Bro ..i had disc herniation 5 years back..now also there is some issue.while squating don't go for deep down..u can do a parallel or half sqaut....... Second ly u should definitely do deadlift...from light weight.but not from ground from a rack in Smith mechine....in a long run it will make your back muscle strong..... Avoid leg press if possible..Thank u❤

It was more of a tips and trick video. His point was- don't use straps when deadlifting as it reduces the involvement of your arm strength. Instead try holding the weight closer to your finger tips to activate your forearm. The whole point of the video was- you can actually train/ maintain your forearms without dedicated exercises.
