Do you think it’s ok to use a black dye or an off black dye to cover grey hair?

I would not use Dye (its dries out your hair and may cause breakage) My stylist uses a salon quality RINSE . I believe the rinse is semi-permanent. Go with off black if your hair is a greyish brown. Black might be tooo dark. Also, do the rinse on relax day. your hair cuticles are more open and takes the rinse better. It does fade after a few washes but mine lasts up to 4 months.

What are some examples of a light relaxer?

Great question Dionne, light relaxer as in a “mild relaxer” or “organic relaxer” as opposed to a cheap non-professional grade no lye relaxer or super strength relaxer. I recommend affirm fiber guard. They even have a few organic relaxers on the market.
