Honestly, after 35/36/37, I noticed that alcohol gained me belly fat and effected my sleep far, far more severely. Even two beers at 5% was enough to ruin my sleep. Ruin being: Try get 9 hours, only achieve 3 hours, then can't sleep for the rest. Cutting out alcohol has meant I go from looking tired and ill, to looking like I'm in my early 30s....I'm in my mid 40s!

Indeed, it makes a big difference! I'm the same if I go over two drinks

Hello Anthony, Do you stay pretty disciplined with your diet during the holidays or do you overeat at all? Great content
@BodyweightMuscleАй бұрын
Hey James, I let go a bit more during dinner, but because I have the right systems in place during the rest of the day, it doesn't really affect me that much

His program works. I did the superhero 2.0 and it transformed my body. I saw the results after I finish the whole program, after one or two weeks. I was leaner and packed with muscle and 8 pack , I never saw my abs saw shredded. I am thinking about doing it again for the Xmas holidays. Go for it!

I'm not following the russian ladder exercise. Do you do a pull ups and then push ups... or are pulls up one series, and then you do a series of push ups?
@BodyweightMuscleАй бұрын
Hey Jonathan, I like both. If I'm tight on time, I'll superset them (I call these super-ladders, I have a couple of examples on my channel). Otherwise I do them separately.

As a guy in my late 40's (yes I know I look far younger than that), I can attest that resistance training and a high protein/moderate fat diet is probably the best thing you can do for your body. Note fats are vitally important for hormone regulation. Personally, I get about 9-10k steps 5 days a week, and I strength train every third day. Note as you get older, and/or the intensity of your workouts is really high, you need more recovery time. Staying active and being proactive about your health is very important living a long and active life.

Congrats bro! Hey i wanted to know what is your take on reducing high blood pressure. I'm doing calesthenics already, i was surprised to see my bp to be slightly high (136/85)
@BodyweightMuscleАй бұрын
Hey Omni. How old are you? And how are your stress levels on a daily basis. Let's say from a 1-10 scale
@omni1562Ай бұрын
@@BodyweightMuscle thanks for the reply man! i would say a 7. I'm 30
@BodyweightMuscleАй бұрын
*For starters* since your BP is slightly elevated you want to make sure that you measured everything correctly. This means taking your blood pressure before any physical exercise, not having had any coffee close to that, feeling completely relaxed, and using the right & calibrated device. *Next* retry measuring your BP everyday or every other day for at least 10 days to make sure this wasn't random. *Finally* if this insists, since you're quite young for it to be stress related, it's best to consult a specialist.

Walking is a good way to reduce blood pressure .. also I would recommend checking your diet , maybe adding certain foods that help to reduce blood pressure
