YES! God bless you!!! My seeds have already sprouted and .most are well over an inch tall. I sprouted them in a cardboard box that I lined with a brown leaf-collecting bag, since it was still early, AND we get severe weather manipulation. It was under 30F last night and will be about that tonight, but it will be almost 80 in a few days - and it's 18 Feb. I'm going to carefully transplant them in grow bags and/or other all-enough growing containers. I get courage and inspiration from content makers like you. Thank you!

I was looking for a video about the " number" 5 safe to plant food in and I'm so happy I got yours. My daughter and I love * 21 pilots * So I ran to my daughter and started your video/blurry face. She loved it ! But so does this 56 year old lady. I took her to see them a couple of years ago. Thank You for your help 👍 🌱Cricket 🌱

Hi Marina!! Thanks so much for watching. Unfortunately, the squirrels got my first set of radishes, and I did not film the progression of the second set. I will start a third set and film for you, so you can see what they look like!

Growing With Nick that’s some drama! Lol. Good luck with the third try! I’m learning that gardening is all about trial and error. I’ve had to replace multiple seedlings because of unusual weather changes (40s after a week in the 80’s, hailstorm the end of May...)
@GrowingWithNick5 жыл бұрын
@@schatzionline Yes haha it is all trial an error. The more you grow, the better you will be at gardening and the more knowledgeable you will become. What types of plants are you growing, and where? If you have any questions please feel free to ask me :)

I’m very new to this. I planted seed 2 weeks ago in GA. My question is : does everything planted from seed , have to be planted in the ground or another container to grow. I know it’s a silly question.

Hi Nick, I tried this exactly how you did and my radishes only grew leaves and the biggest one was the size of my pinky nail. I’m not sure where I went wrong! I used Miracle Grow potting soil and I left them in about 2 weeks longer than the seed packet said because I wanted them to get bigger but it never happened.
@GrowingWithNick4 жыл бұрын
Hmm.. off morgan. What growing zone are you, when did u plant them, and what type? How much sun and how much water?

Whats up. Yeah depending on where you live you can. Usually early winter or late winter, they can take down to 20 degrees F. One of those crops that can handle the cold

I have questions. I have to play radishes for my project for school. My questions are: 1. Do radishes need fertilizer? If so how much per seed. 2. For how long do I have to water them each time? And that’s all I really need those answered many websites don’t give me answers.

try oven roasting your radishes with a little olive oil, they are amazing and can be a keto substitute for potatoes. Check online for recipes

Hi, it worked great!! Unfortunately, I filmed on my old iPhone, which broke, causing me to lose the video and 6 others. I have since moved to plant radishes in-ground as I have allotted myself more garden space this year. I find that from doing both, containers are a little easier as you can control the radish's environment more, especially if you don't have that much space. That being said, I'm growing some now in-ground and should be ready for harvest soon. I will do a video for you describing both methods as well as sharing some tips and pros and cons of both. Thanks for watching, and I hope that helped. Stay tuned for an update video. Stay safe :)

@@GrowingWithNick Thanks for your response. I want to preface what I am going to say by saying that I really did enjoy your video. Me and my sister planted our radishes following your tutorial. (I am not trying to butter you up, it is the truth.) I would also love to know who wrote the remix that you used! Just because it's a remix doesn't mean you can use it in your video. You are still using someone else's work. (Unless you made the remix.) You would have to get permission from the maker of the remix and even then, you would have to make sure that the remix is all above board. You won't get in any trouble right now because you don't have 2,000 subscribers yet. (Keyword: yet!) If you ever want to even have the possibility of getting monetized, than you would need to change your intro. (And possibly your outro? I don't know that song.) KZbin would remove your videos and that would be sad. Anyway, if you read this far, thank you! I appreciate your time and I hope you understand that I am not trying to be a hater. I am just trying to inform you about what is right. Thanks!
