can you replant those sprouts you removed in another container? Or once you take them out will they no longer grow?

Hi Ant, great question! Yes. You can replant them in another container. In that case the chances of the sprout surviving are not to good. I dont have no info about this but I would say you have a 50% chance of it surviving. You should remove the sprout together with the root if you want to replant.

Hi Chris C. Yes I did. And after the initial 7 days you should also water everyday or every 2 days. The radishes needs lots of water to grow in size, but careful not to saturate the soil.

Do you put sand in your soil mix? I hear that adding 20 percent sand to the soil mix prevents the soil from being compacted. I grew radishes for the first time this year and I had failures and successes also. My failures occurred in pots that had compacted soil. My radishes that I planted in my covered raised beds did much better. I think my soil and watering was better in my mini greenhouses.
