Grow your favorite roses from cuttings quickly and easily!

One recommendation I learned from working at a botanical garden for a summer was to not dip your cuttings into the rooting hormone bottle, but to pour the rooting hormone into a dish and dip from there. If you dunk cuttings into the bottle you can get virus or other diseases into the hormone and it can spread from cutting to cutting. If you pour it out onto a dish or something, the chance of this is reduced and you can at least still have a good bottle left if the cuttings were infected.

@onixramirez9134 жыл бұрын
@@archiev.1633 you can use it both ways directly dipped or diluted with water.

@@onixramirez913 And it helps ? Is it possibly even better than rooting hormones themselves? I used Clonex Gel. Thanks for insight
@onixramirez9134 жыл бұрын
@@archiev.1633 it definitely helps I've used clonex as well but since I found honey to me it's better it's natural no chemicals. If you would like to make it slightly stronger you can mix aloe vera and coconut water. If you mix those three you would need to dilute with water for sure. Try it you'll see what I'm talking about.

Too much moisture can definitely make the cuttings rot and die.I'm pretty sure that's why some people have failed with this method and many others. Humidity definitely is different wherever you live so people need to know this that way they can prevent rot and fungus! Also please include the best time of the year for the best results and mention that all cuttings may not survive as with any propagation!

I just forgot to stuck in the name markings I made so now, I don't know which ones are growing. Guess I will just wait for them to bloom.
