I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the part about PRAYING for your hair!!!! I prayed for my hair a couple of years ago, in addition to doing some of the other things you mentioned (I only saw your videos today), and my hair has grown A LOT! I believe that the scalp massaging, eating properly, drinking water, taking vitamins, protective styles, etc. helped a lot but I also completely believe without a doubt that the thing that made the biggest difference is PRAYER! Even my hair stylist is amazed at how long my natural hair has gotten. When I show people pictures of my natural hair, they think at first that it is a weave or wig until they see it from the back and pulled up and from different angles and know that it's definitely not. My point is, prayer works for EVERYTHING!!!! There's only One True Living God and He takes pleasure in blessing His people in every way:-).

Denise Marshall Lol sharing a prayer does not change your relationship with God from personal... If you shared your relationship with your spose or finances with someone, It's still your personal relationship/business... People try to be so deep when it comes to others... No one knows the level of her prayers, just because she mentioned one aspect... If you said you prayed for a new car, does that give a person the right to say, you should have prayed for a cure for cancer... Maybe you already pray for a cure for cancer, Aids, world peace, hunger, TO END murder, racism and so on... They don't know, but God does! POINT!

how often should I comb my hair? I make my own hair gel out of flax seed and olive oil, castor oil, safflower oil, and a little of coconut oil, and water. I massage my hair twice a day. I don't use any heat on it. However, I part my hair and finger comb it daily. Is this too much? My hair is curly, so cutting my ends is hard to tell if it is splitting, so I just cut off the knots while I'm doing my hair. My hair is growing, but it is slow, and I'm praying for growth. Please give feedback 🤔

Thank you so much, for the tip on prayer. I prayed for my hair and I was guided on foods to eat, what to drink and how to care for not only my hair, my teeth and gums. The difference was amazing. It works. Be patient and don't be tempted to add colour, straighten etc. Good luck 🌹

Thank you for sound godly advice. Earlier, while saying my prayers; I asked God to please touch my hair to grow. A video came up before yours and she recommended ginger and coconut oil. Yours came up and i have some of the products you mentioned (recently purchased) and have not begun to use them on a regular basis, but I will...including prenatal vitamins, castor oil, coconut oil, less heat, healthy eating, lots of water, massaging scalp and I will continue to pray because, it was after I prayed that your video came up and one of your great tips was to pray. "Prayer changes everything". I wash my hair every two to three weeks, but Ive been concerned with my stylist using too much heat on my hair. I've asked him to not use a hot comb on my hair and to turn the temperature down on the dryer to cool setting. I've been considering just doing my own hair for a while now. i like a certain style to my hair and that requires a little heat, but I may have to forego the style to obtain the best results. Thank you kindly for wanting to help us. I am very thankful to God for leading me to your video. I am very appreciative. Have a lovely day!💛

Hi Mercy, when I hear you speak the name of God, this woman is blessed. It is very important to love and remember our lord with love to praise continually, in the first place, because her son died for us he was crucified for us. And I thought it was wonderful for you to remember him and for sure what you said ... Pray Jesus to help you in health in love in everything. he doesn't love us, and he wants us to go his way. I m so happy to found you,. This is the History of my hair ...I have curly hair and I want to leave it under my shoulders, I cut it a little bit because two years ago I didn't cut it and broke it in half and started to fall a little bit when I used straightening. I wanted to use it to smooth out the wavy ones, But I love my curly hair,. I want to bring it back as it was before, it was strong and healthy. : ) Thank you

Well, my 3c/4a hair grows long cause of genetics 🤷🏽‍♀️. I don’t wear weave, I shampoo and condition weekly cause my hair gets oily, I detangle on wet or dry hair, and trim regularly. Everybody has to find a regimen that works for them. Also, let’s not forget hair porosity!

It's so great to hear how these practices have worked for so many. I wish I could say these tips worked for me. I've been natural for almost eight years and my hair hasn't grown past my shoulders. I've done no heat for the first few years and my hair broke and was dry like crazy. I started to use heat and my hair seemed to thrive more than when I wasn't using heat, but then it started to break again and I had heat damage. I've tried everything and nothing has worked. I think part of it has to do with being an expat. It seems my hair has broken the most since living in Europe and when I experienced the most growth was while I was in my home state Virginia. I've finally starting to accept that I will never have long hair and the mystery of my hair will never be solved.

Hello pretty lady. Just a note to share with you what I know. I am 52 years old and have been doing the completely natural, no chemical, no heat thing for about 5 years now and also using food products directly in/on my hair along with essential oils and definitely coconut oil too and I have to say it has made an absolute amazing difference in how fast and how long it grows. What I want to share with you tho is this: Shampoos and conditioners. YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE the shampoos and conditioners you are using do not contain ANY parabens or sulfates in them. Parabens and sulfates damage your hair and undo all of the good things we try to do with the oils and food treatments. The way you can tell for sure is this... if you wash your hair with whatever shampoo you choose and when you rinse it out, your hair is hard and matted and stuck together and you can't do anything with it until you put the conditioner in it, it contains sulfates and parabens. When it is clumped and stuck together like that, that is because of the damage. The sulfates and parabens strip you hair of the natural oils and you cannot do a thing with it until you put in the conditioner. I am not trying to push any particular product. Just make sure that which ever ones you choose do not contain sulfates and parabens and you will notice a huge difference. Trust me.

Wow! Thank you so much for this tips!! From now on I am going to trim my split ends. I never understood why it is important. And about the heat damage, I now understand why my hair grew more when I was on maternity leave for four months and had to wash it at home with no heat because I could not go to the salon. I swear by castor oil and coconut oil too. You are so amazing, I really enjoy your videos!

I like that you stressed "that works for you". I have found that my hair loves a specific hair oil/conditioner, cowash, deep and leave in conditioner and styling gel and crochet syles. I install box braids around the perimeter and I leave my edges out. My hair is growing very quickly. I started my new, without texturizer journey this summer before my fiftieth birthday. My hair is twice as long. And yes, you have to pray on everything. My friend just started taking prenatal vitamins. I think for women, prenatal vitamins are the best formula. I'm gonna get some gummie ones.
