I remember an An old couple at Church in the 70's who said "Pray together & you will stay together" & another Lady at church always said "Anthony-how do you expect to grow if you don't read your Bible?" @americanchristianinphilipp960 other religions have truth to them as well. I wish I can be Christian but I can't accept Jesus as the son of God. Only revelations is genesis are books that come directly from Jesus. The Bible has been edited many times with many different versions. I can't call myself a Christian because they use the son God narrative as a silly argument as if it actually means anything to someone's salvation. Established religon is only to control people's conception of God.

They used the example of difficulties having a relationship with a Muslim if you're not Muslim. Yet, born again Christians have no problem forcing their mates to convert to Christianity. Having shared values doesn't require having the same religion.

I loved this video. Jesus centered. But I do want your honest opinion. I am born again. I have lived in the PH doing self appointed ministry but I want a Filipina now. So I plan to move there as soon as I am able, which is up to God. Do you consider that you were unequally yoked before your delightful wife became born again? I have met catholic girls in the PH who were born again but they are few and far between. So my question, honestly, is do you think God would be pleased if I dated a catholic girl with the goal of marriage. I don't want sex outside of marriage. I do so thank God that Leah loves our King. No doubt she can love you even better than before

When I met Leah, even though I was young in my faith and she was not yet a Christian it felt right. I think it is fine to date a Catholic with that goal, most Catholics I know understand who Jesus is. The important thing is that they are willing to let you be the spiritual leader of the house and in time you can correct her on some of the problems with the Catholic doctrine Good luck and God Bless.

Gary's relationship did start out committing sin against God............I don't know what lead him to christianity later in that relationship. Of course marriages will survive and marriages will fail, it takes great effort and in Gary's case, his faith plays an important role in its survival.

Thank you for the question Marty. First we need to acknowledge that we all carry sin into a relationship Christian or not, everyday is a struggle to live up to God's standard and we all fall short. This is why we need a savior because we can't do it by ourselves. I was a young Christian when I met Leah and made mistakes but through the grace of God I have grown spiritually as my wife has also and we understand much better now. Still got a long way to go but everyday we are moving closer to God. Our marriage is amazing and God has blessed us in so many ways, there is no chance our marriage won't survive. God Bless

Marty, we are all sinners. And one thing I truly want you to know, is that God highly favors marriage. For those who believe and those who don't. So don't think for a second that God would look down upon your marriage and judge it. He is the maker of marriage. That said, give Jesus a chance in your life. He loves you beyond measure and He will give you more love for others. That's a great place to be. Take good care.

A very well presented video, but of course, will not be favored by many. It is nice that you are moving those that do believe in the right direction. Respect, I understand what that means, but in the biblical sense, the words are confusing and ask if you would read it aloud for a better understanding. I understand that the husband is the leader of the family and makes the final decision, but not all men can lead. Can a marriage be successful when the couple run parallel and when needed, the partner who can handle the situation move forward to bring the situation to resolve and at that point run parallel again. Finances, in the west, parents encourage their children to further their education to live an independent life and always have something to fall back on. In your situation, will you not do the same. Prayer, so important, it just works. Many do enjoy bible study, but those that do not are still Christian and not judged. To complete my rant, there is no promise that our children will follow the course we have presented to them..............we only hope for the best and if they don't, I am sure there will be some guidance that may draw them back to Christianity.

Practice what you preach??? Anyone? Good advice for the most part, but I think you should point out how difficult relationships are. There is no cure all for different types of relationships. Follow what you state, not what you "should" do. Kinda hypocritical don't you think? Additionally, it's not respecting each other when one person's opinion ALWAYS supersedes the other partner's opinion. They can be wrong. A true man would realize that and would agree in a disagreement. I don't see how that's respectful... Educate me.

Thank you for the comment. We really do follow the advice we are giving, there are always going to be difficult times in a relationship but if you both put God first you can overcome anything. When it comes to decision making I always talk with my wife and often she is right and we will go with her opinion but if there is a decision to be made and we can't agree then I as a Man will make that decision right or wrong and my wife completely respects that. That's funny, I think you are confusing channels. My wife's channel is Philippine Family Life with Leah and she does the family You Tube. This channel is American Christian in The Philippines and is focused on Christianity. I will continue to talk about the word of God and do whatever I can to help those that are lost.
