How To: H22 Skunk2 Pro2 Cam Degree Clay Test V2V

Here we degree a set of Skunk2 Pro2 Cams on an H22 built by a shop from a nearby city.
It has Mahle Gold pistons our ported head and Ferrea 5500 series valves

Did this motor have vtec only or did you lock the cylinder 1 rockers to vtec? Using ball bearing etc?

Yes it’s a “given” checking v2v , p2v and degreeing you lock vtec always did it this way Cuz u degree the vtec lobes, u check p2v when in vtec

Shipping would cost way too much since we are in the Philippines but shop page has the usual price list of the basic work we do… You can check on the guys at Prodigy in Minnesota for possible builds I know them and they are good guys

If I use an old head gasket with the same thickness is it ok? Thanks for your return!

Nice project you have there! The degree kit can be found in racespec the website… on the clay test good question I use a used gasket so the compressed thickness is good and torque to atleast 50ft is safe u can go oem it’s fine too

@@SRDmotorsports Thank you for your answer! I still have lots of other questions... First I bought a skunk 2 intake manifold with a skunk 2 throttle body diameter 74 mm, what do you advise me to install as a cold air intake kit, everything I have seen so far now seems small to me.
