If called to marriage we must do it by the ways of God.. I thank God my husband with love and support helped me to live my faith. Ofcourse God had the final word as in all things. I do think it's helped us greatly worshipping the same faith. Thank you Jesus for pulling me back into the Church.

I was always looking for a Catholic spouse, but I married a Lutheran, and yes it is difficult. Luckily he is faithful but we always have our differences and we can’t relate as a soulmates as we differ on how can pray and see our God

Someone who has been married and had a spouse pass or had the marriage annulled. Widows and widowers often remarry

Judging non Catholics by Catholic standards they weren’t aware of? How did Jesus ever convert anyone? Is that why we don’t get many converts bc we shame them for their pagan life and yet deny sacraments and acceptance? Our society is pagan. This is why things need to change. You’re not talking to a world of Catholics. You’re talking to a secular modernist society who doesn’t know Christianity. Doesn’t make sense. Know your audience

How is this sermon a Judgement? It is simply the truth, my dear. You don't need to lower the standards of Christ to convert anyone. True conversion is not accommodating the others faults, or choosing what to accept, it opening up ourselves to God's will. Peace to you dear

The difference in divorce statistics among 2 Catholics and a Catholic and non-Catholic is indisputable. I get that the Church should not become insular, but If you listen to the series by Fr. Ripperger on marriage, and his series on spiritual warfare in marriage, and many other Catholic marriage vids, then it becomes apparent why a dispensation is required. You are asking not for a civil marriage, but a marriage under God - a sacramntal Catholic marriage. The time for potential spouse to convert is to consider all this before the marriage, not just "preparing' for marriage by getting through school and financially preparing.. That said, there should be a pro-active plan for both spouse to work towards that. A fiancé who has attitude and intent of bing a committed agnostic , Muslim, tc, is not a good idea vs someone open to moving in the direction of Catholicism so to participate in marriage in the Traditional Catholic sense. It is hard to hav a tru union, otherwise. and reasons for breakdown over time are obvious - stats are. against them.
