Thank you both so much for discussing this topic. As someone who has lupus an autoimmune disease and raynauds, i cant stress enough how important it is to listen to your body and seek help if you notice any abnormal changes. I myself at times, tend to keep things to myself when I'm experiencing a flare up as i don't want to be a burden to people, but this video has re affirmed to me that my feelings are valid and i should speak up instead of staying silent. Thanks again 🫶🏾❤️💫🙏🏾

I randomly came across your podcast channel on Apple podcast about a month ago and I just wanna say, Thank you… ❤ This episode is what I needed as this year I started listening to my body , monitoring my hormonal levels , eating right and just finding that connection between my body and mind..

I experienced it I was fear of my parents to the point when I had the opportunity to move I was fearful to tell them and even when I did my dad say he will think about it. I decided they don’t have control anymore I moved and now my parents and I are close. I’m happy and I visit my parents often. If it God plan move he will bring your family together and provide for you. ❤

I remember that how I felt when I was with my parents, I was in fear of my parents but the day I move out I never regretted it and God still provides, my parents and I are very close now.

Dilemma: it is not a child’s responsibility to take care of able bodied parents. You didn’t ask to be on this earth and it was their parental duty to provide for the child they made. Your parents had their lives to live and now you have yours. I would learn to move in silence. You don’t have to tell your parents you’re moving out until you’ve already secured your place. Don’t give them the chance to gaslight and guilt you. In life you often have to be selfish. Making yourself happy will never made you the bad guy. Only God can judge you.

10,000% THIS!!! It's so important to prioritize yourself especially when you're single. She's a whole adult who has been conditioned to listen to her parents. There comes a time where a parents role needs to change from a rule enforcer to an advisor. The older their child becomes, the parents should be guiding you to make decisions that are best for THEIR CHILDREN. I'm so thankful for the way my parents have understood this. Despite me still living in their home, boundaries need to be set in place and tough conversations need to be had so that we both know how we can best support one another during this season.

I agree with the importance of checking your health and wellbeing. The world we are living now is really stressful.

My personal soapbox: do not take vitamins or supplements just because you saw them on tiktok. Look up exactly what they are supposed to do, look up medication interactions, and look up containdications. Make sure you actually need it. Vitamins are not the quick fix button people act like they are online. Ask a doctor or pharmacist if you can if you are interested in taking something.
