So true. My grandfather has been having problems with his balance. Exercises are usually geared to younger people. Many trainers forget how important a video like this is for seniors.

Yes, what a great reminder about working and improving balance as we age. I’ll be 55 in a few months and I enjoy your videos a lot. Luckily I have established a good balance already but it’s great to be reminded the benefits of it as we age 😊. Thank you for your wonderful tips.

My mother always stumbles on uneven paths and she looses balance and falls. Many times she has fallen. I will surely make her do these exercises.

This is the most helpful video that I cannot get enough of. Having a good balance as I age is important to stay healthy. Not only do I need to watch out what I eat, but it is also important to keep the exercise goal to help to stay active and healthier.

I’m 59 and I’ve just broken both wrists, one after the other from falling Up until that I considered myself fairly fit for my age doing workouts 4 days a week Now, being sat at home for 4 months my level of fitness has gone down tremendously and my balance has suffered also so I will defiantly try this as I can’t do lunges, I just fall over

I'm training for planche pushups and I'm still far from my final goal. Balance is just as key here as core strength for this exercise. Proprioception is a completely new word to me although the concept is not unfamiliar. Great stuff as usual, Dr.

I have recently heard that if you can't balance on one leg, that means you have weak glutes. So lunges definitely make sense. I have this problem :(

I never knew that, although it makes sense, when you think about all the muscles involved in simply standing on one leg. I better make sure I do my lunges!

The walking lunge is my favourite of these, sometimes you're going ham with them and it feels great. Until you wake up the next day and your ass is so sore you can barely sit haha!

So do I but found out the real issue was in my hips. There are some great exercises for hips that will correct your knees. Check out Eileen Kopsaftis a great PT that can help.
