Thank you Rebecca & Amy. I recently had a friendship end. I had conversations with other people about it and a lot of private reflection. It was hard. I have come to identify as a relationship anarchist. I'm a single mother & my relationship with my daughter is number one over anything else. Every relationship I have is different and has different qualities, I don't hold romantic relationships above non romantic. I'm non monogamous and because of that openess & communication are extremely important. I think more than anything this podcast honours how important our friendships are. I find that difficult to express sometimes, that I feel someone is important to me and that their contact, & checking in is important too.

Im listening to this now as i couldn't before it was too raw. I had a 20 year friendship end amd i find as i evolve the friendships i had before seem to end. I habe new amazing people coming in but it is so painful to end these friendships that meant a lot to me for years. Thank you for talking about this. ❤❤❤

Thank you for bringing up this topic. I've gone through the loss of friendships many times, and you're right -- it's brutal. Another excruciating experience was being ostracized by my community during the pandemic. All of these events have left me feeling wary of getting close to anyone anymore. I mostly keep to myself now, which is sad.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Being on a spiritual path Ive learned to look deeply into all my shadows and like you, as a teen I was also ostracized by my group of friends and since them ( 2 decades later ) I still keep all my friends at a distance never really trusting or getting close to any female friends. It's a deep wound I am trying to work through and this very difficult.

This was such a great conversation that I think we can all relate to certainly. I hope you decide to continue to have more of these chats in the future. ❤❤❤

Thank you Rebecca & Amy for this gloriously rich conversation at a divinely timed moment for me🙏 A true gift it is to see you both showing up in this way, to witness both of your shares and feel the shifts within myself through this sacred space you held and offered. Holding the paradox of great grief and love for the connections that meant so much for the times that they did. Thank you thank you ♥♥♥

This episode's really deep, beautiful and so true. Thank you for bringing up something that's not really talked about, but something I feel a lot of us navigated quite a bit more of especially during the pandemic. Such a rich conversation, and so beautiful! Thank you Rebecca and Amy ♥

Rebecca and Amy, I so much appreciate this conversation. In the middle of the lockdown I had a 30 year friendship end and even though it felt necessary and ultimately liberating, it was the most excruciating, devastating experience of my life. Wish I had this video then. Thank you so much! 💓

Silly question maybe... Do only women go to your retreats?...I would really love to attend one. But I only see women in the pictures. 😅 X

Hi Aaron, i can respond to this question. As a member of Rebecca’s mystery school and the sanctuary membership, there are definitely men in her community, so if you feel called to join any of her programs, don't hesitate just because of this assumption.
