This explanation about electrons and sun was interesting. I've always found that eating low carb/keto was better with taking sunbaths and moving around. The moment I try to eat this way while working just mentaly in front of the computer I can not control my glucose cravings and need to have some carbs. It feels like the body works as a battery being recharged with movement and discharged with sedentary lifestyle. Movement and sun creates and regenerates more movement.

I read an article talking about a study involving taking methylene blue with niacin can boost NAD or NADH by 5 or 10x. Also the Budwig protocol is great for optimal mitochondria function. The Budwig protocol: The Budwig Protocol is amazing at boosting mitchondria function. It involves mixing electron-rich flaxseed oil with sulfur-rich cottage cheese. This combination allows the flax oil to bind with the sulfur proteins in the cottage cheese, making the fats more water-soluble. This process enhances the absorption of essential omega-3 fatty acids into your cells, providing significant anti-inflammatory and cancer-fighting benefits. It’s a powerful way to boost your health naturally! I found that talking olive leaf extract and mixing curcumin into the flax oil cottage cheese mix really enhances the effects!

(The only time I wear sunglasses now is when I’m running a quick errand, think I might run into someone and haven’t put on any make up 🤭😆.) I’ve done two 3-day fasts so far and am listless and weak the entire time. I was told it’s probably because my mitochondria is severely damaged which brought me to viewing this video. I’m going to keep fasting and hope it repairs via autophagy. This video was helpful and I can see you’ve exercised a lot of patience when responding to many of the comments 😄👍🏻

No sunglasses an hour or 2 after sunrise and before sunset, but during the bulk of the day is a good idea in peak summer, especially places where the UV index is higher, like Australia for example. The tilt of the Earth and the varying densities of the ozone layer effect UV levels differently. In Australia you can get blistering sunburn after 30-60 minutes. On the same longitude in Japan in the equivalent summer season, you can be out in the sun all day with no burn. Just a reminder that sometimes advice is location relative. Also there are varying Visible Light Transmission (VLT) percentages. I like to use yellow sunglasses. Still block UVA and UVB rays, but let more light in and brighten perception of shadows. They're advertised to use in cloudy weather, but I like them in full sun too, with a brimmed hat to block direct glare.

You can get electrons from the ground. Walking on a wet beach or damp soil with bare feet is terrific. "Earthing" works but note, the earth generally has a -6mV charge. The mitochondria membranes have a much stronger negative charge (about -160mV). You need to spend a lot of time earthing to really charge your mitochondria.

You are telling everyone to remove their sunglasses? Correct me if I'm wrong, but you are a PhD "doc", not an MD, yes? You have a PhD (in counselling) and counselling/coaching/nutritional therapy certificates. I have early stage AMD, and wear sunglasses on even cloudy days as per doctors' (physicians, not PhD's) orders. From what I've learned since my diagnosis from my ophthalmologist and other doctors/researchers of eye health: sunlight, specifically UV light, is definitely NOT healthy for everyone. I do however use an eye-specific red light device for a few minutes, a few times a week. This is the research-determined light specifically for the mitochondria... which are the most abundant in the retina.
@DrKelliRitter6 ай бұрын
Hi, Lynda. Thanks for your important questions. First, yes, that’s correct, I have a PhD. I didn’t learn about mitochondria in school and wouldn’t have learned about the importance of light, circadian rhythms & applied quantum biology even if I had gone to med school. QB is a new emerging science. I do not provide medical advice. My clients with AMD find red light therapy most helpful - we go really slowly and start building their solar callus by getting out for sunrise & sunset natural light exposure (and more skin when people have sensitive eyes or eye damage). There is no UV at sunrise and sunset. The sensors on the skin play a role. It’s a light, water, magnetism, food & breath holistic approach to supporting mitochondrial health. As always, trust your own intuition first and most.

We need to be more in touch with our natural environment. Holistic practitioners, including Edgar Cayce, have been advising this for decades. We need more sunlight on our skin, for sure-the MDs who advocate keto and carnivore have pointed out that if you avoid processed food and eat an ancestral diet actually are able to tolerate more sunlight without burning or other adverse effects.
