This is pretty much what I have done to my hair, and is also about a level 5/6, but lifts very easily. One would think that this would be an easy concept for a senior stylist/colorist to grasp, but after my last colorist of almost 7 years moved back home, it was a nightmare finding someone who could do this and blend it right! And...it’s so frustrating when you’re a stylist yourself, and know you could do it only if you could reach the back of your head!🤦🏼♀️
@jwhomeschool4 жыл бұрын
Didn't quite get the double foil technique. It was quite fast. But love the toning at the backwash. When you apply the 7 do you do any combing it at all?

This might be a dumb question... but when you shampoo before the olaplex 2 does that alter the rebonding process? The instructions i thought was to rinse, tone, olaplex 2 then shampoo. I wasn’t sure you can shampoo right after removing foils before applying the Olaplex 2... just curious
@BrettRyanHairArtistry5 жыл бұрын
lindsay rivera you can do it I’ve been doing the same thing now for about 2 years and see no difference. Hope this helps.

It doesn't alter how the hair takes color? Smart bond no. 2 does...
@BrettRyanHairArtistry5 жыл бұрын
LiveLaughLizzy no that I’ve ever experienced and 98% of the time I shampoo or clarify shampoo the bleach out put number two all over the mids and ends and then root tone. When I am ready I wash the Olaplex off the mids and ends and then tone. I have videos on here doing it. Never had a problem. I only use Olaplex so I don’t know about any other bond builders. Hope this answered your question. 👍🏻😁

I have a client coming in today with this exact request and same amount of new growth! So happy you posted this! When you do the bleach wash, do you ever have an issue with their hair feeling super dry afterwards? I’m still in cosmetology school, so I’m limited on the brands I’m using, but I’ve noticed that in the past. Is it because the cuticle hasn’t been sealed enough with a toner? I absolutely love your videos and HOPE you come out with an online education program❤️❤️

Hello, I watch your videos you are awesome I have learned so much thank you I do have a question about the bleach wash you did on her. Do you rewash her hair to get it out or just rinse it? because it already has shampoo? Then you tone? Thank you jessi

I love my hair stylist but sometimes I feel like when she does my hair it comes out exactly the same! She is always very careful with my hair but I feel she is so stuck in her comfort zone! I have considered just doing my own hair but I don’t want to hurt her feelings. How do I approach telling her in a nice way that she is too cautious? 😀
@sashaf75 жыл бұрын
Have you shown her a inspo pic ? Or have you voiced "i would really like to do ....... "
@sarasclafani22755 жыл бұрын
If a client came to me and said something like “I’m ready for a change/I want to do something different and really fun” I wouldn’t take it personally. And absolutely show photos. And even a photo or two of what you don’t want. If you emphasize you want a change, it should click in her head. A thorough consultation is vital!
@sarahstroud60215 жыл бұрын
Sara Sclafani yeah, she is an awesome stylist and I’m not knocking her but I am not one to be scared of change. I have been going to her for the past few months wanting to go blonder and blonder and I end up with the same tired blonde. My hair is not unhealthy at all and it’s very long and thick so it can handle it!!😀
