As an 8yr homeschool veteran this is the best way to homeschool and I've tried it all at this point. Thanks Jessica. I would love some more middle/high language arts resources that aren't dry. It really seems like all the fun stuff for math stops at that 5/6th grade level.

im with you on this one....we, too, are in our 8th year homeschooling and we have a middle schooler and a high schooler. At this point, it all just seems dry. It makes me sad that my girls dread doing school because it isnt "fun".

Fantastic video! I get so many ideas from you on books, etc. We use curriculum BUT we incorporate a lot of games and books to help reinforce. Sometimes we have a game day and just review what was learned. ☺️

Wow, this sounds amazing. You make learning so much fun, it must not feel like school at all. I would have enjoyed this so much if I could have homeschooled, my girls have their own families now and I dont think it is possible for them. I would homeschool my grandkids if they wanted and I would do it this way.

Our last umbrella school did not allow homeschooling without curriculum. Now that we have a great new umbrella school with counselors who will help you if you want to be curriculum free, we are going mostly curriculum free (minus Spanish II) for middle and high school this year.

How do you pay for all this? Do you use Charter funds? I’ve been debating for a couple of years wether to join a charter or not. I’m not a planner, or a teacher, I’m not creative or even the best at organizing, I’m indecisive! I pretty much suck at homeschooling Lol 😑 I wish I had your energy and brain

We do not get charter funds or any kind of fund in the state of Florida. Since we don't buy curriculum we buy resources instead with our money. Thrift stores are also an excellent place to find games affordably!
