Wow. Karl. So glad our prayers were answered. Mark Pro shared his conversation results with me and I’ve continued to pray as well as rejoice. Who would have suspected brown recluse so far north. Goes to show that a person can’t be too careful. Godspeed on the healing!

@@rangerreno1249 Thank you so much! My doctors are impressed with how quickly I am healing, another testament of the power of prayer. When we originally googled brown recluse, the map showed them only being in the southern states. We then googled Brown recluse Wisconsin and it looks like they’re all over Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan. Hopefully this video brings awareness to my fellow outdoorsman. Glad to see you on the mend Karl. Sometimes those doctors can be frustrating with their judgment calls. I had one that told me that I am just getting old for years. Then saw a different doc and with a simple blood test found a condition that can be treated and life has been good. Get well dude!!!

@@Jim-op3kg the doctor I first saw with the Lyme disease was pretty much what you have at your place of employment. I think they’re more interested in keeping the employer satisfied rather than properly diagnosing people. Thanks for your comment Jim, looking forward to seeing you up in the north Woods.

So glad you didn't wait for the union doctor and went to the ER. Makes me wonder if the union doc would have seen you sooner if they knew it was a brown recluse, or would've referred you to the ER. Long story short the Lord works miracles and so relieved you'll be okay. Send prayers for you and a speedy recovery!

Wow Karl! It's hard to believe that a spider bite could do the damage that it did. I hope and pray that you heal up from this. Especially after two different bouts of Lyme disease. I got bit by spider in my sleep when I was a teenager. I woke up swollen up with the hives and my hole body itched. It only lasted a few hours. I was pretty lucky. I wish you a full recovery brother. The ticks got me at least 3 or 4 times in the last 4 years at our cabin. I keep 4 doxycycline pills on hand when we are up there in case we get bit. That’s why I said about the tick tube routine. I haven’t seen any brown recluses up there, just wolf spiders. The outdoors can be unpredictable that’s for sure usually not but you never know. You may want to look into getting a Jase Case too. We are going to buy one or 2 for us to have on hand.

@@karlsoffthegrid1378, ticks are horrible in some areas of PA and NY. We were at the cabin in NY one day last year, a 3 day trip and we got almost 40 ticks off our springer. It literally gives you the heeby jeebies. It’s been so much more relaxing since we used the tick tubes plus a Sorresto collar and his bravecto. The collar is only on him while we are there and then we take it off.

Thanks for the informative video. Boy I hope you get through this and are ok. A lot of people don't realize how dangerous living in the woods can be. I've seen some of these spiders on my cabin and freaks me out. I'm actually looking to find a spray repellant to border my cabin with. On a lighter note I got up to my cabin this weekend holy cow I hadn't mowed all season I had weeds as tall as me haha. I got them mowed down though. I recently planted 50 eastern white pines around my cabin opening and wow they really took off nicely. God luck tomorrow at your Drs appt.
