As a note to new pilots, sometimes a runway marking is changed slightly if 2 airports relatively close to one another have runways in the same direction. For example, if both airports have runways that point North, one airport will label their runway 36, while the other may label their runway 1 or 35. This avoids confusing that 2 airports and calling, or landing at, the wrong one. This is also called out on the Charts.

I remember that FS 2004 had a flight instructor who would teach you all these things and talk you through everything you needed to do in flight lessons. I don't know if the latest version has this or if they've spent most of their effort on graphics.
