I'm glad I came across this video. I have an Alocasia that I was confused about the exact species. Now that I've seen this I really appreciate knowing what I actually have... Thank you....why do the underside purple color fades a little and doesn't stay deep purple like when they open

I found a pink dragon at my local lowes. I got a mom, two baby plants, and several corms in one pot. I hope the corms will grow baby brother plants 🥰

Does the ivory coast every flower? Can't find anything saying yes or no And thank you for showing mature ivory coast! I always see baby's and Mines hugee so I thought it was weird

I got a “pink dragon” it has most similarities to the Ivory Coast but it does have the dark purple almost black back of leaves and it is a immature plant and has that big vein I the middle.

i know morocco is another very similar alocasia, but I don't have any (yet lol) to help you with ID if it is.

Is there an option C ??? Mine looks more like Ivory Coast but with purple underneath the leaf. Also the baby leaves are very green. Help ?!?

I prefer nursery pots and just use a cache pot as my decorative pot for the plant
