We should never justify intentional physical abuse. An argument is no excuse to hit another. The abuser witnessed the victim write it in the sand and said nothing. In fact they continue as if nothing happened until the abuser did something kind and probably self serving so he wouldn’t be left alone. That’s not true friendship. Now the victim just feels indebted to his abuser. No thanks.
