Works well for EXR PNG TIFF. Its two clicks in Blender for JPGs. Then, circle back to Premiere with the sequence as a video. :D

What type of image sequence are you using? Are you clicking the first image of the sequence? Try pressing ctrl or cmd a to select all images then press import whilst the image sequence button is checked.

If nothing else works, make sure all of the images share the same root name and are consistent. If the naming changed midway through your files, that could potentially be what cut it off?

if it's not letting you select it then it's already checked so Premiere Pro has already noticed it's an image sequence.

How to do this with "live images" from mobile? PC automatically saves them as jpg, though "live images" are in fact mini-mp4 on the mobile phone, but how do you get them to premiere as moving image, not still image?

if you are talking about iphone images, on your iphone save it as a video and then on pc you can edit like a video or split it into imeges

premiere pro will automatically do that for you since its an image sequence whatever your timeline frame rate is the image sequence will play at that fps .

Yep you can change any image sequence to any FPS you want. Just hop into sequence settings and select the 24fps in the drop down menu.

That means premiere pro has automatically detected its an image sequence. Once you import it into your project it will play back at the frame rate of your sequence.
