I take hundreds of interviews every year to select for so many positions in our company. We in our panel dont like it when someone starts interviewing our company during the conversation,, we give separate time to every candidate after our questions are over, asking, ' our questions are over you can ask anything if you want to'. And then actual interview starts. Because results are more depended on questions they ask, It gives us clear idea the actual mental state and priorities in a candidate's mind. Ofcourse their answers play an important role in the judgement but questions they ask gives us what are they looking for in our company. Academic capabilities plays very nominal role in the result of an interview. So my advice is wait for right moment to ask questions.

Those who rely on looks for a successful career won't get very far. While Before I started my company I spent 10 years working at major corporations. I had to work very hard, complete an MBA, do extra courses, deliver outstanding results and volunteer extra time in order to advance my career. It's unfortunate when a people think that success comes easy and they overlook all the years of hard work and dedication that's required.
@abhishekghosh43842 жыл бұрын
@@ShadeZahrai that's so true! Halo effect can work both ways, on one hand it may help a good looking person form a good first impression, on the other hand it can also make people assume that you have achieved your success solely on the basis of looks. Unfortunately average people like us may take it for granted that life will be easier for good looking people, when the reality can be far from that.

Yeah, I have experienced that. The interview almost ends badly for the applicant if the interviewer themselves have to ask, "Do you have any questions?". Then if the interviewee says, "No." That's almost like the final nail in the coffin. Then the interviewer usually say, "We will let you know if you are selected." That's what an interviewer usually says here in India, if you are rejected or if they are not yet sure about you.
@tushar46522 жыл бұрын
So what you think brother should one say yes for the ques? And what should one ask on this?
@musaddiqali12 жыл бұрын
@@tushar4652 If you have no questions to ask to the interviewer, then the interviewer will think that you are there just to get the job, but you aren't curious about the job that you are attending the interview for. Also the interviewer may think that you are not curious about the company also. So, you should just ask some questions pertaining to the actual work you will do in the company, like say, if you are a programmer or web developer, ask what and what kind of projects are going on in the company. Ask, how many teams are there working on any given project, and how many employees per team? Basically just be genuinely curious about the company and the job position that you are interviewing for, questions will naturally come into your mind.

@@tushar4652 That's a very tough question to answer. What career you choose depends on where your interests are. I just gave an example of programming as that's what I am interested in. Try to explore everything and anything that you have even a little interest in, try to see what you like and what you don't like. Explore a lot on whatever you choose, just try to learn and be curious and hungry for knowledge.
