Hi Shadé! Thank you for your videos! I want to request your advice in maybe a longer video on self regulation, mindfulness, and self control. How can someone become better at doing what they need to do rather than being a servant of their own desires and impulses? (Thank you for your video on people-pleasing. I took an hour to write down everything you said and did the exercises. My anxieties regarding people have gone away!)

True. You can just observe the light self-doubt and let it pass. You don’t let it stay for long.

Absolutely correct. 👍 When you risk leaving your comfort zone, you can‘t win new experiences. Nothing is this universe, that is worth pursuing or having, comes freely. But: this doesn’t mean that one should live outside his comfort zone all along. Leave it regularly, make your experiences, gain your success, but return to your comfort zone to enjoy life! 😃

Self-doubt isn’t always the bad guy. Sometimes, it’s that nudge that pushes you to double-check your work, prepare a little more, or take things seriously. I call that ‘Light’ self-doubt. It keeps you sharp. But then there’s the heavy kind. That’s the kind that lingers and whispers, “What if you fail?” t’s the weight that clouds your thinking, slows you down, and keeps you from even starting. Heavy self-doubt doesn’t push you to improve… it stops you in your tracks. It keeps you overthinking, avoiding risks, and saying no to opportunities you’re absolutely ready for. Recognizing when self-doubt shifts from helpful to harmful is the first step to taking back control. Because when you can spot it, you can work through it. And when you work through it? That’s when you start showing up, trying anyway, and proving to yourself you’ve got what it takes. Every single time. Right now, is your self-doubt the light kind - or the heavy kind?

It's a good video. But not as simple as just changing your thoughts and what you are doing. As your mind is focused and overthinking (negatively, not usefully and not helpful), and knows if you try and change the subject and thought etc.. so what do we do?
