Great video. How long does this increase in ROM last?

The ROM should last longer over time. Once you have new ROM, it will last longer if you do drills that incorporate the new ROM.

WHAT!!?? I can instantly reach past my toes! this is some sort of magic! I've been struggling with the sit and reach test for days! now I can touch my toes no problem!

how can I do that with a dumbbell? I find that stuff interesting and i'd like to use your ideas in my traibibg.

Raw Power You would do it the same way. Use a light weight to start. The point is to mentally use an external focus rather than internal.

at first this threw me for a loop and i was wtf'ing for a min or two. im kinda testing it out but i think what it is is that by focusing on reaching for that point around you instead of where the body is going, your body moves in a way that provides a slight rotation towards that point you wanna end up at. im not certain but it could be debunked possibly as the body just doing small micro adjustments towards reaching whatever point your thinking of, example like your shoulder moving backwards or a slight bend in the spine to touch your toes. im no expert by far, but im gonna keep testing it out. either way, itsa cool trick and caught me by surprise. maybe with a little mind- muscle connection work you could safetly use this to increase your range of motion, say to help with things like back bridges, handstand excercises, and other stuff too.

Just a quick question, Is this why people listen to music while working out, So they don't have to think about every muscle movement?
